I have never worked with a more incompetent service department. I am a fleet manager for a company and usually work with the Folsom Lake dealerships however one of our trucks had to be towed into Elk G department. I am a fleet manager for a company and usually work with the Folsom Lake dealerships however one of our trucks had to be towed into Elk Grove in Nov of 2020. It was there for several days because it would not start. Truck is still under its bumper to bumper. After being down a truck for days and calling and leaving a message with Matthew Reid multiple times, with no call back, I finally went in to the dealership speak to someone because apparently I'm not allowed to talk to anyone but Matthew. Absolutely ridiculous.. I had to suggest bringing in the spare key to see if it would start the truck because they had no idea what was wrong with it. Next day I brought in the extra key and it started the truck right up, so it needs a new key fob. After 4 months of waiting I called the dealership and asked about my key they said that this part is "first come first serve" and they wouldn't hold it for me. I couldn't take that truck off the road at that point so I called back a week or so later and they didn't have any keys left. Its now almost a year later and I finally had enough of this game. I called on Monday 8/16 only to be passed around from the scheduling lady, to parts, to service. I got hung up on twice before I spoke to Jim who scheduled an appointment for today, 8/19, and he put a key on hold for me. When my employee arrived this morning for the scheduled appointment he was told by the service guy that there was no key for us there, that they haven't had them in some time, and they have no idea when they will get more because "COVID" ... When I was told that my employee was getting turned away I tried to call Matthew, shocker he doesn't answer. I called the main number right back and asked the operator to speak to a live person in service, guess who answers, MATTHEW. I asked him why they would schedule an appointment and tell me they would hold a key for us if they never had them (according to their service guy) . He put me on hold and when he came back he said I have your key in my hand. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? This is of course after my employee has left because he has other things he needs to do today. I asked him how this happened and he said "I don't know I put my hands on your key" and then hung up on me. Stay clear of this service department they clearly have no idea what they are doing. More
I couldn’t say enough good things about this dealership especially after interacting with other Jeep dealerships not associated with this location. We purchased our Jeep Grand Cherokee from Lasher in 2013 especially after interacting with other Jeep dealerships not associated with this location. We purchased our Jeep Grand Cherokee from Lasher in 2013 and the experience was top notch. For years we serviced it at this location before moving closer to an alternative Jeep dealership which is when we really learned how good we had it with Lasher Elk Grove. Experiencing what other dealerships were providing really shined a light on the top-notch service provided here. They are always prompt professional and communicative. I’m never left wondering, when am I going to hear back about my vehicle? We now drive all the way back down to Elk Grove for service because the quality is that much better. 5-stars. More

Hello Mr Bloom, I was really happy with the customer service that Josh Cuevas gave me and the help the service department gave me. The only thing that i would ask of you, is my PT cruiser that i have go service that Josh Cuevas gave me and the help the service department gave me. The only thing that i would ask of you, is my PT cruiser that i have gotten serviced from you was left to me by my mother before she passed away and i want to keep it in good running condition. i understand that the diagnostics fees are how you pay your mechanics. I just dont think its fair that if a part is under warranty and something goes wrong with the part that i get charged $ 180.000 every time i get it looked at ? is there any way you could help me out in the future if i have to bring it back in for service ? He also stayed in constant contact with us through the 2 days to advise us on the completion of the two major services. He walked us through the pick up of our vehicle and the return of our rental car. In every way Jim was a tremendous help and we are thankful for his kind and informed assistance. More
Rude unprofessional finance personnel I came to this dealer to purchase a new 2019 Ram truck. The deal for the price was good and I was ready to purchase. Then came the paper works with the finance guy, Amarquez. From the start he seem very impatient because he was trying to sell me more products that I didn’t need and I declined the offers from the start. I was told there’s a $1k discount if I owned a gmc truck. I did owned one. He asked for gmc truck proof in which I showed to him. He took a look at the paper and told me it’s a van not a truck. I told him it’s a truck not a van. I owned a commercial truck. Without letting me showed to him or explain, he got upset and told me I was wasting his time. Thus, the deal was off, he then quickly gathered all my paperwork (with my personal info and my check that I had to pay for the new car) away . I then asked him to give my check back because it’s in the that files of his. He took it out and gave to me. Once I got my check back, I got up and walk out from his room to go home. As I was walking he called me back and wanted to look at my check (I have a business check with my business name and address on it) he looked at it and said “ok, so this is where you work.” And he walked off. What is that supposed to mean?!?! I am extremely shocked of the unprofessional customer service of his. Saying I’m wasting his time is already enough let alone his last statement was unacceptable. Horrible customer service I purchased my 2015 Dodge grand caravan from this location in 2015. I take my Dodge caravan to this location in for it normal maintenance. Om my last visit to this location and was told my 2015 needed a new transmission when it wasn't mentioned to me at my last servicing 4 months prior. I asked the service rep to explain whats going on with my van and he says " Do you know anything about cars" I was advised to pay the 6700$ or take my car elsewhere. I have never recieved such horrible customer service in my life. I will not recommend this location to anyone! More
