My review of Elk Grove Subaru I first checked on internet with three Subaru Dealers. Everyone responded with pricing. Dickson Yip responded without being PUSHY. We set up a time to meet at the Dealership and my wife and I took a test drive with Dickson Yip in an Outback. Dickson was very friendly and answered all our questions. He knew everything about the Subaru products and was a tremendous help. The overall BUYING experience was very pleasant. We agreed on a price and everything went as smooth as butter. Mr Yip went over everything about the operation of the new Outback that we purchased. I would recommend Dickson Yip and Elk Grove Subaru to my friends. This was my best experience purchasing an automobile. Thanks to Dickson Yip and Brandon Vaughn for their friendly and professional way of doing business. We had researched the Ou Sales Consultant, Sean Flanagan, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful in our purchase of a 2014 Subaru Outback in March. We had researched the Outback over the Internet and were impressed with owner reviews and safety features. Our neighbors purchased a 2014 Outback in November and were pleased with the vehicle and with their experience at Elk Grove Subaru.. The neighbors insisted we take their new Outback for a drive and highly recommended sales consultant, Sean Flanagan, to us. We loved the feel of the vehicle and decided to make an appointment with Sean to learn more about the options and colors available. Sean made us feel comfortable, demonstrated the different options for us and answered all of our questions. We chose a new Outback Limited with the Moon roof, Navigation, and Eyesight options. The wife wanted it in Ice Silver. The Outback with the options was available but the Ice Silver color was a little problem . Sean and Assistant Sales Manager, Dave Deleon, went out of their way to locate and obtain the particular model in the color the wife wanted. Everything worked out great and we are pleased with our experience at Elk Grove Subaru. We are loving the new Outback.. More

I contacted Mike Carlson via the internet in regards to a new Forester, Mike was very prompt in replying to my email, and was not pushing the car on us. We made an appointment and after driving a little over an hour to get to the dealership, showed up about 10 minutes early, as we parked we noticed the salesmen out front of the dealership, my wife and I got out of the car and were not bombarded with the typical car salesman speech, instead we were met with a handshake and a "how you doing" after I told him that I had an appointment with Mike he said no problem, walked us over to the Foresters so we could look alone and went and got Mike. Mike came out and met us on the lot with a smile and introduced himself and was very friendly and personable. In my opinion you only get one chance to make a first impression, and I tell you what, a great one was made when we met Mike. We told him exactly what we wanted and didn't want in our vehicle, he made every effort to find the car we wanted to see. Then it was time for the test drive, Mike drove it from the lot to the gas station to fill it up, and on the way he talked with us about the car, not to us, and put zero pressure on us to make a purchase. Mike answered any and all questions and was very knowledgeable, he not only gave us the "sales" pitch but talked to us on a more personal level, and gave equal time to not only me but my wife and showed her respect with any questions about the car. Which is huge in my book. After we decided to make the purchase we sat down in his office, he asked what we were comfortable paying we told him and were able to settle on a price and go further in the purchasing process. Next step, Finance my "favorite", he introduced us to Brandon Vaughn, Brandon came in and introduced himself, and once again a fantastic first impression was made, Brandon was very energetic and happy to work with us on financing the vehicle, we told him that the monthly payment that we settled on was what we wanted and we did not want any extras, just wanted to get finished. Brandon respected our wishes and gave us the option for extended warranties, Gap insurance etc. We wanted to purchase an extended warranty, so Brandon showed us the prices, and oh man were they way too far out of our budget, my wife and I talked it over and decided that we couldn't go for it. Brandon was able to work his "magic" and got us a fantastic deal on an extended warranty that didn't put us way out of our budget. All in all it was a great car buying experience, I have purchased new vehicles in the past and wasn't too thrilled to go through typical car salesman bs again, but as the day progressed I actually enjoyed dealing with these two, I would Highly recommend Elk Grove Subaru to anyone looking for a vehicle, especially the two that I dealt with. Overall experience 10/10 We got to the dealer at 1140 am, and started the paperwork around 1245 and were out of there with our new Forester at 230. GREAT EXPERIENCE More
