My hat goes off to Zach H. I visited another Subaru dealership prior to seeing Zach. I was “prequalified” at the other dealership. I was not even taken seriously. Best experience I've ever had buying a new car. Carl was super knowledgeable and easy to work with. He was able to answer all my questions and shared useful information. He had a great attitude and was very efficient. No one at the dealership harassed me at any time during the process. No hard selling tactics at all. Talked first to Dickson Yip about a new Outback. A no- nonsense price was offered and accepted. My wife and I went to a Ford dealership prior to Elk Grove Subaru and escaped and left there feeling violate nonsense price was offered and accepted. I didn't feel pressured to buy Subaru, the salesman (Dickson) was very casual and non pushing. He ensured that I understood every part of the vehicle that I was purchasing. Ensured that I felt comfortable with the financial contract and the purchase price. I was treated well by all at the dealership. My birthday was yesterday, I turned 76 years old. Was a little hesitant about going out car shopping alone at my age. But, all employees treated me well. Mr. Dickson was great at making me feel comfortable in the car when I took it out for a test drive. This was the first time I have ever been in any model of a Subaru; but was pleasantly surprised as to the feel of it. I eventually plan to move to Colorado and I will need a vehicle that would do well in snow (light) and I needed to pick one that there was a dealership near the town that I was moving to; therefore this is the one that my son-in-law and daughter wanted me to purchase. They agreed that I got a good deal and was treated fairly. That you for making me feel comfortable. More

Before going to Elk Grove Subaru, I was in contact with Napa Subaru (I highly do not recommend them!) who decided to change the price on me as I stepped foot of their lot. On top of that, they did not have Napa Subaru (I highly do not recommend them!) who decided to change the price on me as I stepped foot of their lot. On top of that, they did not have vehicle that I was promise to be available and was trying to sell me to an upgraded vehicle that I did not care for. Why pay for something you don't want ? What kind of business are they running there ? Definitely not what a respectable dealership should be doing like Elk Grove Subaru. On to the review of this fine establishment... I spoke with Gavin McPoll over the phone as we were negotiating on the price and he brought the price down close enough to my desired price; he asked that I come in to negotiate further and I agreed as I also wanted to get the awesome financing deal before it ended the next two days. I drove to Elk Grove and met with Bruce Cunningham as Gavin left to drop off another car he sold earlier. Bruce was very accommodating, he offered a donut after knowing that I was hungry, which I gladly accepted. I had to point out this tidbit because the donuts were not owned by Bruce, but his co-worker's (Mike?) - shows how great of a team they have at Elk Grove. Bruce had the information that Gavin and I were working on earlier; Bruce was able to bring the price further down to my satisfaction. Once I was happy with price, I worked with Brandon who did my financing. Brandon laid out everything; he did calculations of all of my options and gave me an awesome 60 month financing deal that was close to their 48 month financing deal. All in all, I had a great experience with Elk Grove Subaru throughout the entire buying process. In a few weeks, I plan on getting my new Forester serviced at Elk Grove and will write another review for the service as well. Thank you Elk Grove Subaru for a seamless transaction. More
