Had to use the recall service department during this past visit and I must admit I am highly disappointed and surprised at the level of disrespect and lack of communication received not only from the service visit and I must admit I am highly disappointed and surprised at the level of disrespect and lack of communication received not only from the service tech but also from David the service manager, whom I spoke to about my complaint. I asked for a specific service and when I picked up my vehicle it had been decided without any communication to me that the service would not be performed and I would have to schedule it again at another time. I felt disrespected after explaining my situation to the department manager who did not even attempt to make me feel heard and continuously spoke over me the entire conversation and who refused to take down my complaint or provide me with anything saying that it was even given or that my issue would be addressed. This is not the type of person who needs to be in any kind of customer service position nor should he be responsible for leading others. I'm not sure if I will continue using this dealership due to this past interaction. More

Including auto sliding door and received a call from service agent, MIGUEL that the sliding door doesn't open automatically. Then spoke with the service supervisor name DAVE, regarding this situation. As we try to resolve this issue, all they want to do is business talk and want to charge us for diagnosis what cause the door to not open automatically. As I stated to him the automatic sliding door worked perfectly fine when we drop off and hand them the key. What upset me the most is DAVE, stated "how do we know that you are not lying." Like seriously, are you xxxxen kidding me, this is xx. He also stated that my car has never in their shop before, yes that's true but we have been a loyal customer to ELK GROVE toyota for our Tundra's service for years, but they failed us this time around. Another thing is why do I needed to bring in my car to you, Toyota shop, when there is nothing wrong with my car. This is so stupid, sound more like another business talk. He pointed every finger back to us that the issue happen prior to the drop off blah blah blah nothing that they did. There were no empathy in this situation. Imagine, you dropped off your car in good condition for recall, and when you pick up your car, its not in the SAME condition and all they want to do is charge you this and that to find out the problem. I told DAVE im not willing to pay the fee for the diagnosis and there you go "well then you car is ready to be pick up" xxx man. I question him what is your priority here, he stated "to take care of our customer" well you guys fail big time on your priority and need a lot to work on. Should do those protocols while your customer is present instead of calling them a liar. Not sure who is the LIAR in this situation. THIS IS A BIG BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT TO ME. DEFINATELY NOT HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. More
