My car was slightly over due for an oil change, and I found myself with some spare time, came into Elkins, and asked if they could do the oil change for me. When it was time to pay the bill, I was surprised at the price, $9.95. I questioned Adam, and he informed me that the Flyers (hockey Team), had won their game the night before, so Elkins has special pricing for oil changes.After paying my bill, I went out to my car to find it had also been WASHED!!! What a great experience! In these tough economic times, its nice to find a dealer who goes over and above to make his customers happy. More

Presented 2008 Impala for warrenty service drive train @ 98000 mi. They refused to perform warrenty service, informing me that the last servicing agentfailed to perform proper service for a transmission flu 98000 mi. The service that I paid for did not solve transmission leak. I worked with matt and adam in service.. they are nothing short of spectacular. They answered all my questions and concerns and reached above and beyond to help get my car fixed and back to the way it should be.. also the friendliness is outstanding, you would of thought i had been coming to them forever, i look for personable people who give respect & i came to the right place. In my opinion if you are looking for a top notch Chevy dealer to get work done to your vehicle even for the Sales Dept. go to Elkins! I had a groupon for an oil change and wanted to use it for full synthetic. I knew it would be more money, as it said so on the groupon. When I made my appointment I inquired about the price difference a for full synthetic. I knew it would be more money, as it said so on the groupon. When I made my appointment I inquired about the price difference and was told 20-25$ extra. When I picked up my car the bill was double what I expected. I asked about the bill and was being charged for the full price of 6 quarts of oil. I asked why I would pay the full price of the synthetic and not the difference between the two, regular vs. Synthetic. I was told that's how they do it and that was all. I knew I was going to pay more for synthetic just didn't think I would be basically paying for 12 quarts of oil. **********Update to this story is John the service manager contacted me about the misunderstanding and went above and beyond what he had go do and gave me a free oil change. It's good to see customer service is alive and well at this dealership. More
