I was about to trade in my car, give them a down payment and sign the papers that is when the finance manager Barry insisted they could not honor the price the sales person quoted. Then when they said they would bring in my sales person who gave me my quote he was no where to be found. I found Barry to be obnoxious, rude, and condescending. Bay Ridge Nissan is everything car salesman jokes are made from.... If and when you want to purchase or lease a vehicle I SUGGEST YOU DO NOT USE BAY RIDGE NISSAN. More

When we could not get approved by Nissan's Finance Dept., Barry called us on the phone as well as well as Jose Navarez. It took 2 days to set up. Barry made many phone calls and worked hard with Jose Navarez and Mike, the Sales Manager, until 10:00 pm and got a deal signed through Capital Auto Finance. They got us into a 2011 late model Infiniti G37X, with only 29,000 miles on it. We love the car! Great job! Hats off to Barry, Jose, and Mike. We love Bay ridge Nissan because of you! More

Great new car buying experience. Initially I did not even consider Bay Ridge Nissan for my new car purchase because of previous experience with this dealership. However, their relatively recent change in operation method (May 2014) gave me a reason to give this dealership another chance, primarily because this dealership is the most convenient location for me to buy a new car. Note: I will always research the car that I am interested in through websites such as truecar, edmunds, and kelly. I am also familiar with the car buying purchase and know exactly what costs are reasonable and what cost are not. I have also check for Nissan USA global incentive prior to visiting the dealership so I know exactly what kind of rebates are available. Lastly, I am also 100% aware of my credit score so I know what kind of APR I can qualify for. Basically, prior to visiting the dealership, I know what kind of price I am willing to pay for the car, what kind of rebate I can expect, what kind of additional costs I will see (Destination fee, license and registration, $75 document fee, and tax), what APR I will get, how much I am willing to put down as downpayment, and roughly what kind of monthly payment I should expect if I decided to purchase the car. With all the information I am armed with, I was able to have a very pleasant car buying experience. David Nezhberg was the sale associate that I work with and the entire process was very pleasant. Albeit I was very caution during the whole process because of my previous experience, but in the end, the sale process was pleasant and everything was fine. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking into the purchase of a new car. But obviously if you are completely clueless about the car buying process, the chance that someone will take advantage of you go way up, not just in this dealership, but other dealership as well.
