Huntington was better than Smithtown and Westbury by comparison although I’m not sure I would recommend this dealership...I would prefer to give 3.5 stars. A new salesperson, Claribel, was helping me comparison although I’m not sure I would recommend this dealership...I would prefer to give 3.5 stars. A new salesperson, Claribel, was helping me and she was very sweet, however, she was not experienced enough to do the sale. As a result there was a lot of back & forth that over time that became frustrating and time consuming, especially on a Friday night at closing. When I returned to the dealership to complete the sale the process was smooth but my new truck was completely wet bc it had rained the night before. Claribel was drying it off herself with a microfiber cloth! Additionally the gas tank was empty when I got in the truck to leave! I had to get out and wait for her to drive across the street to gas up. When I went back inside to address this with her supervisor, Justin, he said she was new and didn’t know to check the tank. As far as I’m concerned that is an awful excuse. If she’s not trained well enough to do the job then make sure you are properly supporting her so that the costumer experience is as good as if I was with a seasoned salesperson. It was very unprofessional and truly disappointing, especially to be driving off the lot in my brand new truck with water spots. After the many excuses I was offered a free car wash so there’s that. More
