I normally have a really great experience with this Subaru but my most recent visit wasn't so great. My service agent used to be the other Tiffany and, honestly, she was the best! Anyway, this last vi Subaru but my most recent visit wasn't so great. My service agent used to be the other Tiffany and, honestly, she was the best! Anyway, this last visit was quite frustrating. I dropped my car off on a Monday, first thing in the morning (as soon as they opened, maybe even a few minutes earlier). I confirmed my phone number with them. I didn't hear from anyone all day so finally, before the end of my workday, I gave Subaru a call. Kathy, my service agent, told me she tried calling me and she texted me (I got neither of those). She explained what work needed to be done and that it'd be ready next day (Tuesday). That's fine. Before hanging up, I reconfirmed my number with her. Turns out she took it upon herself to swap around my area code and the next 3 digits as those are the same as a Pa area code. Confusing? Sure. But again, I had confirmed the number on the paper to be correct. Tuesday rolls around and again, no calls all day. So again, end of my workday I call. I'm told Kathy is busy with a customer but will call me back. I'd like to pick my car up on my way home from work so 40 minutes later when I didn't receive a call, I called again. I was told Kathy is working on my paperwork and my car would be ready in 30 minutes. Perfect! I head out of work shortly after and head to Subaru, more than a 30 minute timespan so should be good. I go in to pick up and the woman at the front asks if I received a call which I replied, no I did not but I called earlier and Kathy said it would be ready in 30 minutes so here I am. But now I'm nervous because no call. My assumption is that Kathy probably got my number wrong again and called but called the wrong number. Anyway, the woman checked and thankfully my car was ready. I paid. I checked my paperwork and lo and behold, my number was wrong again. I thought maybe I was crazy so when I got in my car, I checked the paperwork I received at drop off. It had the correct number. I get it. Things happen. But this was just beyond frustrating. One might think that when you swap around the numbers and the person never calls back, you might try the actual phone number provided. But I guess not. Just seems like something that could have been prevented by simply dialing the confirmed number. Otherwise, Kathy was very friendly. Additionally, after picking up my car and leaving, when I got to my next destination, I noticed that my front bumper was not properly in place. On both sides, it was not a seamless attachment as it was prior to dropping off at Subaru. I did call and spoke to the women who answered, I forget her name. She said to bring it in to get looked at so I will be there Saturday morning. These experiences aren't going to make me find a new place to take my car. Again, usually all great experiences with Subaru. But just some very annoying things to have happen. More
A perfect ZERO pressure dealer experience every step of the way. Bought a new BRZ from them, flew in to the Newark airport where Eugene delivered the car to me. I then drove it 1,300 miles home. Great staff, clean location, given a loaner until new car arrived, just wish car included sunroof and more safety features in basic price (too many additional costs). Charges are questionable, way too high. Very bad business not to issue receipt for cash paid. . I must have a receipt.
