While under warranty I took my vehicle in twice to have my door problem assessed and fixed. Both times they told me they “couldn’t figure it out” and sent me home. The problem kept getting worse until this my door problem assessed and fixed. Both times they told me they “couldn’t figure it out” and sent me home. The problem kept getting worse until this past week when the same back door of my van came open while I was driving down the road- with my 5 year old sitting in the seat next to it. I immediately called Evans in a panic and they assured me they would figure out what was wrong. And guess what? They did. This is the third time I’d taken it in for the same problem. They then proceeded to tell me that my warranty that would’ve covered the repair was expired by 6 days and that “unfortunately” I’d owe $1,400 for the repair. Lenny, the Service Director, called me and stated they knew what was wrong this time because his mechanics ran the diagnostic test for the door, and he also ADMITTED that they had not run this test either of the two instances before when I’d taken it in for the problem. Instead of assuming the responsibility of the mechanics not running the proper tests as they should have, he blamed me as the customer. WHAT?! I have been a long-time customer of this place, and I’ve run into many great employees, but unfortunately this circumstance will never have me back in their door. I’m a lifetime Toyota owner and will always be, but I’ll drive as far as I need to find proper service and mechanics who actually know what they’re doing. I traded in a very nice Buick Enclave to get a Chrysler Pacifica to better meet the needs of my family. The team that sold me the vehicle was very kind (Reggie and Chris). Sliding doors won't stay shut. Transmission issues. Heating/AC vents going out, etc. We bought "the best extended warranty" and it doesn't even cover what's wrong with the vehicle. We took it in for service, and again everyone was kind. However the only thing they could do under warranty is exchange the radio screen, because that, too, was going bad. This was over a month ago and still haven't been contacted to replace the screen. I called and spoke with Kathy Waters who promised to do everything they can to get us out of this mess. That promise was not fulfilled by financing. We would have to roll over 13 THOUSAND dollars on a vehicle we got 4 months ago. I feel like we went to a shady Buy Here Pay here instead of a well known family name business. "The market changes every day." One offer. No negotiations at all. I'm upset and feel stuck with a vehicle I can't rely on for my family. This was a huge mistake for us. Not a business that thinks of the little man and families. More

I came in for an oil change for the first time since driving my vehicle from CA three days previously. Jeremy the sales associate came to me in the waiting room and blamed the previous people who did my driving my vehicle from CA three days previously. Jeremy the sales associate came to me in the waiting room and blamed the previous people who did my oil change for putting on my oil cap too tight (I have no way to prove that.) he informed me I would be paying $40 for a new cap and that they wouldn’t take responsibility for it since it wasn’t them who serviced the car last. I said why should I be the one who is responsible for it?? He said, “Well, or we could just NOT do the oil change” after I had already been waiting an hour. He said to contact the previous service department in CA to ask them for a refund. Also, I was charged $45 instead of $40 on the invoice. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. Lexus and Toyota should be embarrassed. Oh, that’s right…but they won’t be because Jeremy informed me that there’s no corporate to contact; each dealership is independently owned. Isn’t Jeremy a peach? More
