SERVICE VISIT

2009 Dodge Caravan: fuel pump failed at 58,000 mi. Had vehicle towed to dealership. Oump was not available, but they had it the next morning. 2 hrs. later job completed and presented with the bill: nearl vehicle towed to dealership. Oump was not available, but they had it the next morning. 2 hrs. later job completed and presented with the bill: nearly $800. I stated that it seemed a bit high and was told that the pump was $479, tha balance labor. (no warranty due to over 36,000mi.) Service writer said nothing they could do, "they just fail sometimes". If this is typical of Dodge quality, "5-Star Service" and service dept. attitude, it makes a very strong case for avoiding Dodge and this dealership. More
