Don’t be afraid to just say no. The VIP experience was good. Got to try 3 trim levels to affirm my original choice. Salesman took the time to let me drive them all and explain differences . His assistant was pleasant and efficient. Finance manager was fast and efficient so process was quick. More

Stop Looking At Other Car Dealers - Ferman Chevy ROCKS! Kayla, Nada and Sheldon of your Chevy Sales Team - Ferman Chevy Tampa Bay, FL are fantastic. I hate the entire car buying process - but team mentione Kayla, Nada and Sheldon of your Chevy Sales Team - Ferman Chevy Tampa Bay, FL are fantastic. I hate the entire car buying process - but team mentioned are serious, accurate, brief and clear on customer expectations and delivering the best product available. I do not like car dealerships nor the car buying process. They took the time do a needs analysis (vehicle use, price, extras, bells-n-whistles, etc.) and was able to match a Chevy product to our requirements in a smooth professional process. They are all about the business of taking care of the customer. They took the pain out of new car / car dealership shopping . I don't know how else to say how pleased we are with the purchase - but to simply state - come new car time again - we are coming back to the Ferman Chevy Team, Tampa Bay, FL - we are telling all our friends too. Hopefully Kayla, Sheldon and Nada will be President, Vice President and Sales Manager soon - but I am still coming back!! Thank you for a job well done. Merry Christmas 2018! More

Unimpressed and Disappointed. My wife and I worked with Marckell to purchased a preowned Ram truck for our small business. The price seemed appropriate for the year, model, and con My wife and I worked with Marckell to purchased a preowned Ram truck for our small business. The price seemed appropriate for the year, model, and condition (more on condition later) and he worked with me to get a fair price for our trade. We enjoyed working with Marckell very much. That unfortunately is where the good ends. During the prebuy inspection I conducted I noticed the exhaust pipe had slipped out of one of the clamp joints. It was noticeable from simply looking under the wheel well and how it was missed on the safety inspection when so blatantly obvious should be concerning to anyone taking their vehicle into a dealer owned shop. I mentioned this to Marckell and he said since the service dept was closed that day that he would adjust the vehicle price to reflect this so I could get it fixed. I though this was an acceptable solution and choose to move forward with the purchase. My wife and I have impeccable credit and choose to secure financing prior to arriving at the dealership as we have found this just makes the process smoother but when we got into the finance office to begin signing the paperwork the representative Juan was less than polite and helpful. He seemed incredulous that we had gained pre-approval and questioned what exactly our letter provided from the bank. He mentioned several times that "he had been doing this a long time and had never... ect ect." Well it just so happens that my wife has ALSO worked in the car industry for many years including in the finance office for one of the largest dealer networks in central Florida. His curt and cursory explanation of dealer paperwork that he passed of as "standard state package stuff" when we asked a very simple question, was insulting and rude. Apparently we were just supposed to sign where our appropriate color highlighter mark appeared and not speak…? Perhaps you shouldn't treat you customers like they know nothing of your industry. After completing all the paper work we got into our new to us truck and drove the hour and a half back to Orlando. Here is where the fun part comes in. The next day, literally the next morning, I get in the truck and start it and the check engine light comes on. Concerned I take it to the local Ram dealer and ask them to please investigate. The report I got back made me want to throw up. The dealer said they found a bad u joint, bad ball joints, an unperformed safety recall, the broken exhaust I mentioned earlier, TMPS service light and a failing turbo. The price to repair was $8100.00. How this vehicle passed a safety inspection before it was offered for sale is beyond me but I find it disgusting that this truck immediately needed nearly ten grand in work before I had driven it 200 miles. I dont see how the dealer could not have known of these issues if they had performed a safety inspection, as the tech at the Ram dealership advised he could tell there were issues just from driving the vehicle. But then when we were signing paperwork the finance manager didn’t try to sell us warranty upgrades, he literally took the paperwork, said he didn’t think we would want it, lined through it and had us sign waiving the extended warranty. Almost like he knew the vehicle would need extensive work and didn’t want us to bring it back… Additionally we were told while at the dealership that they do not sell used vehicles that have been modified. We were told that if any modifications were done they send the vehicles straight to the auction. Turns out that was a bald face lie as the Ram dealership says it has an aftermarket exhaust and had been tuned with an aftermarket programmer. More
