Mr. Wendell Bradford, It is unfortunate that your brand new vehicle did have a factory defect in the form of a pin hole in the coolant line. You spoke with every manager in sales and service department and everyone was aware of the situation. We did what we could and the vehicle was in our service department right away and you had a new Jeep to drive from our loaner fleet which was what you deserve for being inconvenienced. The difference between a new vehicle and a used vehicle is not that they don't experience failures but with the new car you are protected by a warranty. It is not ideal for either of us to have any issue so soon after delivery and we sincerely apologize. Also, during one of our conversations you stressed that you did not like that the advisor texted you during the day to update you on the status so we discussed with the team that we will be sure to ask the guest's preferred method of communication before assuming. We took our time with the vehicle and were waiting for a diagnostic tool in order for us to pressurize the system so we could ensure it was that small pin hole only as it was not a heavy leak. The part and the labor were both below $100 dollars. I understand you wanted to refuse to pick up your vehicle and were going to have it voluntary repossessed and we have no control over that. The vehicle was already titled to you and could not be returned. You do have consumer protection laws in place such as lemon law but it would not qualify for a single small warranty event. We did transfer the plate off your previous vehicle to your new lease that was a special vanity plate which keeps the same renewal date. Best Wishes, Blake Gardner General Sales Manager
