Last week I decided it was time for a new, smaller Subaru, and there was no question where I would buy it. I found out that the helpful salesperson from my former purchase had earned a professional degree and was no longer selling cars. This told me that Fitzmall really has a great culture that supports its employees in their efforts to make life better. Scott Shoyer answered my email inquiring about a Forester I'd seen on the website, and when I arrived in Rockville, there it was front and center. A test drive, a trade-in deal, and away I went. Smooth, simple, perfect for an elderly lady who hates haggling and devious practices. Thank you so very much for being a reliable, pleasant, accommodating place to buy a car. You go the extra mile to find what I want--NO SUNROOF!!--and make it easy to close the deal. I am very sorry that I no longer live close enough to come to your really great service department. Took them an hour and a half for a simple oil change and I was the only one there. And then when I was driving home, the rearview mirror fell off. It was perfectly fine before the oil change. No idea what I was the only one there. And then when I was driving home, the rearview mirror fell off. It was perfectly fine before the oil change. No idea what they did to it. So the next day I went to the Fitzgerald in Gaithersburg, closer to my residence, and they almost would not fix it and were telling me I had to take it back to Rockville for them to fix it since it fell of there. I was about ready to get in my car and leave and drive without a rearview all the way to Rockville, 30 minutes away, when a mechanic appeared and wanted to take a look to see if he could fix it. He took my car down to the shop and 10 minutes later, it was fixed. I am incredibly grateful for this guy. Never got his name and he wouldn't allow me to tip him, but he deserves a pay increase! What an amazing guy and a great employee!!! More
