He did an excellent job on the walk through during the delivery process and was very patient with the numerous questions we asked about the vehicle. Joe, in the back office went through all of the various options and explained all of the various forms we needed to sign. It was a busy day at the dealership and he was the only back office person, but he never tried to hurry the process. Stephen, the credit manager brought us our reports and for the first time ever, sat with us and explained all of the scores and how they are calculated. As I said in my opening statement, the entire staff was great. This is a very busy busy dealership that sells lots of cars due to their great pricing, but never once did we feel rushed in order to get to the next customer. I recently bought my first Subaru (a 2012 Outback) and was very impressed with everything and everyone at Fitzgerald - and particularly with my sales representative, Joel Schenk. His first contact was a response via email, which was thorough and prompt. He stayed past his normal hours at the dealership in order to meet with me at a time that was good for me. Joel was very patient as I looked at car after car to make sure I was making the right choice. He answered all of my questions and was never pushy. Rather than making the purchase that night (it had gotten quite late), I went back a couple of days later, and Joel had made sure that my new car had been readied - it was spotless, full of gas... and perfect. The paperwork had also been prepared to make it a fast, smooth process. Joel went through all the features of the car and really took his time making sure I knew how to operate everything and was familiar with the owner's manual before I drove it off the lot. Joel had another employee assist me with setting up the bluetooth feature since technology is not my strong point. I couldn't be happier with the service Joel provided. He is a quite the gentleman and I look forward to referring anyone in the market for a Subaru to him! More

When we finished the paperwork end of things Joel was outside making sure our new car was spotless, full of gas and ready to go. He explained the car and everything about it to us and really took his time to make sure that we got exactly what we needed. I have bought my share of new cars, this is the third one this year, two of which were from Fitzgerald (Gaithersburg and now Kensington). I highly recommend this dealership because of price and a large selection of cars, but mostly because of Joel. It isn't very often that you run into a person who is respectful, kind, and very knowledgable about his product. Some salesmen I have dealt with have known less about a car than I do, and that isn't where I want to be. Joel had the answers and the professionalism to get us in a new car and back home before dark. (140 miles each way) We have owned the Outback for two weeks now and we are more impressed all the time. It is probably one of the highest quality cars I have ever owned. It is my wifes drive and she says she already knows that her next one will be a Subaru. Mr. Fitzgerald, thank you. I was looking for a reliable all wheel drive SUV type vehicle and after considerable research decided that Subaru was one of the best. In particular, Constantin provided really helpful information on the new Forester Limited with a low key approach that was not too pushy and made me feel comfotable. In 2010 we purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback from Fitzgerald, North Bethesda location. We were greeted by Constantin as we walked among several new autos on the lot. We have enjoyed our Outback very much and find it very easy on fuel. Just before Christmas this past year, 2011 we had decided to purchase another vehicle to replace an older car we owned, this time I sought out Constantin to be our sales rep and guide us through the process. He is a skilled salesman and very easy to work with. Our choice of vehicles this time was the Subaru Impreza 5 door hatchback, one sharp looking car and at 36 plus mpg a very good value. We had a great experience at Fitzgerald Subaru. In part, this was because of the Fitzgerald Auto Mall "no haggle" approach - which takes a lot of the stress out of things, but which would not be w this was because of the Fitzgerald Auto Mall "no haggle" approach - which takes a lot of the stress out of things, but which would not be worthwhile if it did not represent an equal or lower price for one's vehicle than sites like Kelly Blue Book and Edmund's recommend. Their price did and we love the cars! Most of all, we enjoyed working with the people there - and, in particular, Hossein, who is classy, knowledgeable, aims to provide all possible assistance, and doesn't engage in any sales gimmicks (one gets the impression that none of the salespeople there do, but we only have experience with Hossein). The only (slight) downside was the trade-in price that we got for our car - but, to be fair, this (although at the low end of the range) did fit within the Kelly Blue Book and Edmund's ranges for what we should have expected to receive. The little issues that we found with our car matched what the Honda dealership we took it to for repairs had proposed (so, they certainly weren't fabricated). All in all, a great place - and, again, Hossein is great to work with! More
