Today I was helped by CT, who has only worked there for 2 days. he was extremely attentive, talk to me through all of my options as well as the repair, and shared some great stories while we were waiting. I'll look forward to seeing him when I come in for my next oil change! I was treated fairly, and the pricing for all of the services I received today were very reasonable. More

The appointment was for 7:30 am I called on Wednesday 8/14/2019 and set an appointment for Friday 8/16/2019 to get an oil change and state inspection. The appointment was for 7:30 am. Got there at 7:25 and checked in. So far, okay. It is now 12:01 pm and my truck is still "getting serviced" The first excuse was they were waiting on a filter from parts. That was at the 2 hour mark. Okay....the parts department is in the same building so I can see why it would take some time to get the filter. At the 3 hour mark, no excuse just still in service. At the 4 hour mark, service writer Amanda went to lunch so they cannot give me an update. This is not the first time I have had trouble getting good service here. They asked that we come back and give them another chance to give good service. Well.....they blew it. This place literally sucks at service. From setting the appointment (had to leave 2 voice mail messages to get a call back to just a simple oil change. They can't even pull that off. I will not be fooled again and go to Sam Packs Five Star Chevrolet!!! More

No Pressure Experience I had been to 2 dealerships the same name before visiting Sam Pack's Five Star Chevrolet. Lloyd was the salesman who helped me find what I was looking I had been to 2 dealerships the same name before visiting Sam Pack's Five Star Chevrolet. Lloyd was the salesman who helped me find what I was looking for. Sales are sales. But, this man was NEVER pressuring any "deals" or a vehicle of a different type on me. I received an actual test drive; and not one of the "oh no, it looks like we're low on gas, let's go back and make a deal" scenarios. They were very accommodating, and let me return the next day with the title for my trade-in, and locked my trade-in in their facility overnight after I told them I still had tools in the tool box I needed to get out. In about 10-13 years (I keep my trucks for a long time), I will be returning! More

The first service representative I worked with consistently told me, that my warranties had expired even when I new they hadn't. I tried to work with another service representative (Brian) who was more helpful, was able to find my warranty information the first time (and very quickly) but I wasn't able to. Long version: I bought a certified preowned 2016 chevy traverse back in October. I recently brought in for the free second oil change. I was working with a service representative, (lets call him Dilbert to avoid slandering). About 20 minutes goes by and Dilbert found me and said, "They found an oil leak, I checked and your warranties have expired. Do you want me to have them run diagnostics on the problem, or just get the oil change?". I was confused, because I know that we still had 2 warranties on the car, the certified preowned powertrain warranty, and an extended warranty which won't expire for another +40,000 miles. Being a poor graduate student with a family, I told him to just have them do the oil change. After talking on the phone with my wife, going over the paperwork and having the proof of both warranties, I went to go find Dilbert to have him run the diagnostics. I wasn't able to find him, so I went and talked with another service representative, Brian, about the diagnostics and warranty info. Once my car was done Brian came up to get me. He had the results of diagnostics, and we then walked through the estimated parts that needed to be repaired and the possibility that both warranties would cover. After Brian and I were in agreement that the major repairs (oil leak in engine and barring in axel) should be covered by both warranties, he went to set up my appointment to get it fixed. All of the loaner cars were either being repaired, or used so Brian told me he would talk to his supervisor and see if he could get a loaner car for me and set me up to drop my car off later that week. 4 hours later My wife had called three other chevy dealerships in town and they said that they had loaner cars available. Just then Brian called and said that he had been able to get a loaner car for me and they could get the car in that next day. I decided to keep working with Brian and not the other closer dealerships because I liked working with Brian. Brian gets me all set up to go with the loaner car and I left my car. Later that day I called Joe to let him know that I wanted to work with Brian, not Dilbert, and that it was Brian's hard work in finding a loaner car, as well as walking through the repair and my warranty that made me want this dealership to get my business. I wanted Joe to know how good of a job Brian had done. Assuming I was working with Brian, I was surprised when I heard from Dilbert. Again Dilbert said that they found the leak of the oil and the problem in the axel, and that I had no warranties so the estimated cost of repair would be $3,000 dollars. I quickly asked to work with Brian, who "was busy at the moment". So I told Dilbert, that I did have warranties, he said he would look again. Get a call later that day, saying that the one warranty would cover $2000 and when I asked him about the second warranty he couldn't find it so I let him know the company of the extended warranty, and he is like, "oh yeah its right here on your file". I was not very happy to be working with Dilbert. Not only did he consistently say that my warranties had expired, he never really explained exactly why the certified pre-owned powertrain warranty didn't cover the axel, but luckily the extended warranty did after I had to pay a deductible. I will only be returning for service, if I am able to work with Brian, but even then I am hesitant to return. More
