I found Five Star Ford of Dallas doing an online search for Mavericks. They had what I wanted. Upon arrival I was greeted by Leon in sales. He was friendly but not pushy! He answered my questions and got m for Mavericks. They had what I wanted. Upon arrival I was greeted by Leon in sales. He was friendly but not pushy! He answered my questions and got me in the vehicle I wanted for a test drive in just a few minutes. Afterwards, Lupita from Aftermarket got me the window tinting needed for the Texas sun. Then Alex in finance helped me get the paperwork straight. I appreciated the Sales Manager's help in the process but I did not remember his name or it would be here too. My wife and I walked in shopping around for a new Ranger, and first off the dealership is awesome with a beautiful collection of classic cars and trucks. I have done dozens upon dozens of transactions with Sam Park (not this location!) and over 600 overall. I did a phone deal with Johnny Vines (New Car Sales Mgr.) for a close friend from Mississippi and it Park (not this location!) and over 600 overall. I did a phone deal with Johnny Vines (New Car Sales Mgr.) for a close friend from Mississippi and it was a smooth deal until Chris Ballard did the deal paperwork in F&I. The deal over-estimated out of state TT&L by about $800. I phoned him to tell him there was a mistake in the refund because my friend was charged $225 in Doc Fee and then a 2nd undisclosed fee by the 3rd party vendor who did the out of state registration. Their 3rd party fee was $267 plus dealers doc fee of $225. The dealer charged $225 for Doc Fee, subs it out to a 3rd party to do their work and then wants her to pay the subs fee, too. Chris was argumentative, rude and refused to issue the refund. It is illegal to charge any fees no on the buyer's order. I will simply file a small claims suit on her behalf tomorrow and a complaint with the DMV. A good dealer can become a bad one with people breaking the law. More

Eddie Bowers, aka CrewVanMan, made my custom order easy. He has a $40 booklet that walks you through every possible option, so you can exactly know what you need. Online click boxes are overwhelming. Local dealers want to order basic options (white, few choices), yet you can get a 360 camera. He also 3D printed a spacer for the digital rear view camera; Ford only has it two car lengths back, so it needs a spacer to achieve a standard view. Can not recommend Eddie and Five Star Enough. Price and Finance are all done online from the comfort of my home, with no pressure, clear, and concise answers. More
