Customer's Beware! Beware of this dealership's customer service!!!! I had a horrible and unacceptable experience at Fletcher Jones this past February 10th, 2015. I hav Beware of this dealership's customer service!!!! I had a horrible and unacceptable experience at Fletcher Jones this past February 10th, 2015. I have been going to Stahl Motors Mercedes Benz In Monterey, California for years and had nothing but rave reviews to report. I moved to Los Angeles and tried Fletcher Jones. What a mistake! Mercedes charged me over $400 to look at my car and tell me what I already knew the at the car would eventually need a new transmission. Don at DDK and Aamco do that for free. In the process of checking out my car Fletcher Jones failed to mention that my vehicle was no longer drivable. When I drove my vehicle, and dropped it off at Fletcher Jones the vehicle's transmission slipped, but was completely drivable. After leaving my vehicle with Fletcher Jones for an evaluation it became un-drivable. I came after work to pickup my vehicle thinking the car drove like it did when i dropped it off (the transmission would slip). Nobody at Mercedes explained to me that the car no longer went over 15 miles per hour. Why would Fletcher Jones allow a 30 year old woman to pickup and drive a car at 7 pm at night that doesn't drive anymore? Fletcher Jones had a duty to explain to me that my car was in an unsafe condition to drive. But no Fletcher Jones handed me the keys and watched me drive away like nothing was wrong. I had to pull over on the side of the freeway as the car would not accelerate. I ended up stranded on the side of Highway 73 at 7:15 p.m. during rush hour traffic. I was forced to get my car towed and to Uber home to Manhattan Beach where I live. I paid Fletcher Jones over $401.17 to evaluate my car, break my car even further, put me in danger, and then another $120.00 to Uber home. Additionally, during that same visit my passenger seat was broken while Fletcher Jones evaluated my vehicle. I did notice the broken piece of plastic sitting on my passenger seat when I came to pickup my vehicle. When I asked the service provider Stephanie what happened and to fix it. She said it would take to long to take the passenger seat off and fix the plastic and my car wasn't worth it so just to put the plastic in the center console. Ridiculous. When I brought this up to Trevor at Fletcher Jones he said he looked into it and was sorry we would have to agree to disagree. He feels Fletcher Jones did nothing wrong. Customer care and satisfaction is not a priority to this dealership. Overall, I highly recommend you stay far away from Fletcher Jones service department. More

From my arrival at the dealership until resolution two days later, they did everything they could to take care of my concerns and support my needs. Josh took the time to learn all the details of how the Drive Kit system works. I was provided a loaner car at no cost to me while this was accomplished. Impressive! You've definitely hired the right people to keep your business thriving and reputable. More

Tom is very detailed and knowledgeable in his facts, he has excellent communication skills and extremely trustworthy all of which are especially important attributes when making a car purchase. Tom has your best interest at all times; he made our transaction quick and pleasant. We were not a fan of the FJ sales techniques but Tom's professionalism, superior work ethics, and honesty turned us around in to a favorable opinion of FJ sales. We investigated other dealers and in the end it was Tom Johnson goes above and beyond outstanding customer service. He wants his customer happy and his drive to make our car purchase a positive memorable experience is the factor that made our decision to purchase from FJ. This was our ninth Mercedes purchase and by far the BEST! I'm posting this compliment to help others when searching for their Mercedes as it took me months to weed out to find Tom Johnson. Thank you FJ for having such a great asset to your FJ sale team now you need to clone Tom. More
