I got the ML450 sale information from edmunds.com and I was really interested in the latest incentive of 60month lease with unlimited mileage option. That was little bit higher than expected but it's acceptable. However, just before I signed the contract, he asked me another $3500 for DMV, TAX, ....and so on for something excluding expense and he said all the customer pay the same things. I was not so knowledgeable about Mercedes policy and I had to trust whatever he said. After I came back home, I realized that there is incentive of $3500 lease cash. One more thing I would like to say is that the attitude of the sales person. I was there to buy a car of one of the most prestige class company and I expected to be treated more gently. I and my wife felt he was very rude and offensive. I was called their manager after my complaining and she said to me - too bad, you signed the contract, NO cooling off period. Enjoy your driving. We had strong feelings to purchase a BMW at Crevier. But when Kamran showed us the features of the E350 we felt that we were getting more for our money. I have owned a 2007 335i Coupe. It was a fun car but too harsh for my tastes. The E350 bridges speed and comfort. Plus there are so many great features. The NAV system was a breeze to learn. It actually does take voice commands, easily. My wife drove a Lexus before this purchase. I am not sure she ever felt comfortable with the NAV system in that car. Kamren was by far the best salesman I have ever met. He explained features exactly so that I understood the first time. When he explained a subject that was complicated, he allowed time for us to digest what he had just said. Some salesmen just don't know when to be less talkative so that we can experience the test drive. Josh was a great trainer for us after our purchase. He went through every part of the car so that we felt safe to experience our drive home. Plus he gave us a head start in learning the radio and NAV. It was very easy to learn. When i showed up the first time, i had an appointment with Chris Lanza. Chris immediately turned us over to a salesperson. We stated that we knew what we wanted and we didnt want to see others cars. Chris insisted we see other options to be sure we got what we wanted. We are not children, we didnt want to go through the steps to be "up sold" to an AMG sport (thanks but no thanks). He must have come from a Chevrolet or Toyota store, he needs to be told that people coming into a Mercedes store spending $100,000 CASH are more sophisticated and should be treated a bit differently, he seemed to act above it all.
