I was greeted by Ryan who was new but want to help. He got the car I want to test drive out. We went on a test drive and Ryan was a very nice guy he didn’t know all of Financial stuff but he was new an He got the car I want to test drive out. We went on a test drive and Ryan was a very nice guy he didn’t know all of Financial stuff but he was new and said he had a guy back at the dealer that would help us out when we got back to the dealer in if was interested in this one. When we got back the dealer Ryan went and got his boss Kevin when I was looking about the vehicle getting self acquainted with the car. Kevin came introduced himself and we looked around a little more and we talked numbers and he if I can get the payments at or below a $$ would I be interested. I said yes, and on the way in Kevin said something about a location device that they could provide I told him I was not interested he said it would give a discount on my car insurance. Still was not interested. When we got in we did some paperwork to ensure that my wife and I would qualify for a loan. Ryan and Kevin seem very friendly when we waited. Kevin came back and said they that everything was good at the price we talked about. We just need to wait for finance manager. About 20 minutes later he was ready. Wife and I went in sign paperwork and Ryan took the car to fill it up and clean and detail it which was nice I think this is something you should expect at every dealer. Then we got some unexpected news first our interest rate was 8.9%!!! Which I was expecting 7 or 8% being out score or mid 800…super disappointed…..then we where told we HAD to pay for a location device to be put in the car or we can’t have the car. What a smack in the face something that was only mentioned to me but told I was not interested in. Then was told it was $500!!!!! After 3 or 4 hours in the heat filling out paperwork and waiting….was very disappointing. I felt sucker into buying this device that I didn’t want. Even with a $10 discount that they claimed that would taking me over 4 years to pay off and by then I might buy a new vehicle if not sooner. So I was forced to buy the devise that could buy on the Internet for $30!!! Yea I feel ripped off….then I learn that they gave me the wrong devise after talking to support. Will I come back to Folsom Ford to buy another vehicle I would say no cause I don’t want to be sucker in to buying some device and maybe next time even more…so no I will tell my friends where not to go…..could they make this right…..maybe…but I would need a refund for devise. Ooo even to know my car already has a location devise in it from factory…..yea not happy. More

They didn’t seem to enthusiastic on making a sale. Other lots would try and have you leave with vehicle. I had to phone my bank the next day and was told of the approval of car loan.
