Reneged on an offer My wife and I went to Folsom Lake Ford to buy a truck. We were negotiating when the Assistant Sales Manager, Kentucky, offered to include running boa My wife and I went to Folsom Lake Ford to buy a truck. We were negotiating when the Assistant Sales Manager, Kentucky, offered to include running boards. We left not buying the truck and spent the next few days to thing about the purchase. We went back to buy the vehicle and he reneged on the running boards. Will not recommend this dealership to friends and family. More
A very pleasant experience I was at the dealership for two reasons. 1. To get an oil change on my Explorer abs 2. To consider trading in my F 150. After completing a deal to tra I was at the dealership for two reasons. 1. To get an oil change on my Explorer abs 2. To consider trading in my F 150. After completing a deal to trade in my truck and purchase an Escape I was at the dealership with two vehicles! “K” the quick lane mgr. very kindly drove my Explorer around to the front and backed it in to a parking spot in your teeny weeny front lot so it would be easy for me to pull out. He is always so thoughtful. Tim the sales rep drove my Escape home and picked up my F150 which was part of the deal. So I was able to 1. Get service on my Explorer 2. Buy a new vehicle 3 get them both home with no hassle. Thank you. More

Earlier in the year my son was looking to replace his 2005 Honda Civic. We reached out to Gary Katz and after exchanging a few emails back and forth he made a great offer on a 2018 Focus which my son purchased. Great buying experience with little to no issues on price. In fact while we worked with a couple other dealers Folsom Lake Ford came in under the rest, without us having to ask, by another $250! October 13th I decided to reach out to Gary again after looking at a couple Explorers on the lot they had. More emails, two offers, I called him and arrived to view and test drive one he showed. After the drive we spoke about possible trade ins, I selected my 2015 Mustang GT/PP, and they made an offer. More than I expected, better than Kelly Blue Book, and we filled out the paper work while the dealer worked out the final numbers based on a few requirements I had. They came back 20 or so minutes later with three separate offers and explained how they came about them, what they could and couldn't do, why they couldn't do it, and finally let me look it over. Again, no pressure. I asked for one change, they came back again with what they could and couldn't do, I accepted, we shook hands, and that was it. All in all I was in and out in a couple hours mostly due to my trade in and waiting my turn in finance. I honestly had a great buying experience both times. If you are shopping around for a new Ford it doesn't hurt to give them a call or exchanging a few emails. More
