I am about as tough as a critic that you will find. I come from the old way of thinking where you should provide every customer with top level service all the time. I have worked in sales, and I know it can be a grueling task. I spent countless hours researching, talking to other dealerships both in and out and state, and looking over every last detail. After all of that I can assure you of one thing. BEN RHETT is the friendliest, most knowledgeable man in his craft that anyone. Most of the people I spoke with had some knowledge about the vehicles (thought I usually knew more than they did), a few had pretty good knowledge, but Ben quite literally knew every fine detail about every model we asked him about. He listened to what asked, answered our questions fully, and went further, anticipating things we might just want to know about that we didn't think to ask. Multiple people within the dealership commented that he was the best guy when it comes to this. They told us that he spends hours learning about each model, and spends extra time learning each new model as it comes in or has updates. He didn't try to oversell us, he helped us find exactly what we needed. He asked us intelligent questions, followed up quickly when we reached out (even when he was on vacation), and I cant thank him enough for making what is typically a very stressful situation as easy as you could possibly imagine. He even spend 30-45 mins post sale with us setting up all the features of the car for both of us. There were two other couples waiting for him, but he did not rush us at all. My mother and father in law has recently purchased from Ben and had also had a great experience. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and inviting, but Ben knocked it out of the park. If you an are the market for a Lincoln (or any other Ford product), do yourself a huge favor and visit Ford of Franklin, ask for Ben, and tell him that Jon sent you his way. He will NOT disappoint. When you walk in he will be wearing a suit, but when you leave, you will feel like he should be wearing a cape! More
I met Jeff Dawson for the first time three weeks ago. Jeff listened to everything I wanted and showed me about 10 cars. I finally chose one and I’m so thankful he took the time with me. Jeff Dawson is definitely an asset to the Lincoln team. Every employee that we were to see next came to introduce their self to us while we were waiting because they were very busy that day. If you value your time or sanity, avoid Ford of Franklin’s Service Department at all costs. I dropped my truck off on a Sunday, got a call Monday saying they’d have a diagnosis by Tuesday. Reaso Franklin’s Service Department at all costs. I dropped my truck off on a Sunday, got a call Monday saying they’d have a diagnosis by Tuesday. Reasonable enough — except Tuesday came and went with radio silence. I called Wednesday, only to be told they’d look at it Thursday. Thursday passed — no updates, no calls. By Friday, after yet another call on my part, I learned they still hadn’t even looked at the truck and they wouldn't do so till next week. Let that sink in — a full week with my vehicle sitting there untouched. No diagnosis, no progress, not even the courtesy of a proactive update. At that point, I pulled my truck from Ford of Franklin and took it to Ford of Columbia. The difference was night and day: they had a diagnosis the same day, warranty work approved the next, and parts ordered within 48 hours. Everything Ford of Franklin failed to do in an entire week was handled by Columbia in two days. My so-called “service advisor,” Jesse M., might as well have been a ghost. The lack of communication, urgency, and professionalism was astounding. Bottom line: If you value your time, don't bother with the service department. Time is valuable. If I am told you are going to look at the truck Tuesday - then look at it. If you are not going to be able to get to it for a week, then tell me that so I can go elsewhere and not waste my time. More
This was my first brand new car purchase! Evan and the finance person were FANTASTIC. Evan worked with me all day via text message!! Once we had picked a car and handled financing, I drove to Franklin to pickup the vehicle!! Evan had the car detailed and filled up with gas. He went with me on a test drive! He was genuinely as excited for me as I was!! He took his time and walked through all the features of the car and the app and what not. He made sure I was completely comfortable before he let me leave!! I will continue to by any vehicles my family needs from him as long as he is there and with Ford of Franklin always! The finance person was amazing as well! He was down to earth and as country as I am! We discussed where i lived and different funny stories about being younger. When it come to the paperwork, he slowed down and went through each page and line with me. He explained all the warranties and cash back that i was receiving. He made sure I was comfortable with everything before we finalized. Over all great experience!! More
