After recently being in a very serious motor vehicle accident in which my Ford Freestyle was "totaled," I was in search of another similar, reliable vehicle. The vehicle I purchased is a perfect fit for me and although it is almost 9 years old, the mileage is low and the car looks brand new, and rides beautifully. My funds were limited, but thanks to Al and his supervisor, I was able to afford the vehicle and I feel safe and comfortable and I am convinced I could not have made a better choice - in the dealership or in the type of car. Well, I have to tell you, from the minute we walked up to the door, the people were friendly, couteous, and we were matched up with the perfect salesman to handle our inquiries. We weren't expecting to buy the door, the people were friendly, couteous, and we were matched up with the perfect salesman to handle our inquiries. We weren't expecting to buy a car at the first place we went, but everything was so easy - from the door being opened for us, to the models be described to us and shown. The salesman, Al, really listened to what we were looking for in a vehicle, and helped us find the perfect model. Since I put so many miles on a car in a week (350 just back and forth to work), MPG was important as well as comfort. He showed us the features of the Focus and had us sit in it to try it out for ourselves. I was fascinated by how futuristic it looked and all the stuff it could do. Well, it's all in the here and now! We felt no pressure to choose or buy, just got great help along the way. Al showed us the other models we were curious about (Fusion, Escape) but we ruled them out. As great as they are, they just weren't the right match for us. We needed the higher MPG The test drive was great. It is so amazing that, about 72 hours later, we were driving off with the car, considering it was a holiday weekend and all, and we worked Tuesday. When the finance guy was ready (I think his name was Chuck), he walked us through the various options and double checked all the info. He said he'd get back to us on Monday (This was Saturday, 8/31). We were congratulated by salesmen and felt like this was really going to happen. I was nervous because my credit rating is low, but my husband co-signed and has a great reputation with Ford Credit. When the finance guy called, Monday, and told me I was all set, I practically jumped up and down when I got off the phone and told Frank. It was like we were all in this together and Ford was rooting for us along the way. I never dreamed that, with my credit issues, I'd ever get a brand new car at this time, but I'm so thrilled. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, and never such a great car buying experience. I probably sound rather overexuberant, but I'm still in awe that I'm driving such a great car. Definitely a lot more easy to handle than the vans I used to drive and much better than the Chevy Cobalt I traded in for the focus. He provided a very thorough overview of the 2014 Ford Escape, showing many features that were not mentioned by online reviews. We had viewed other competing SUVs and found the Escape to be a better value, especially after Daryn showed all the features. Daryl knows his success is based on repeat customers and happy referrals. The negotiations were simple, straight forward. When we picked up the new Escape, Daryn reviewed each feature and took the time to review all of the features.
