As always, we appreciate the opportunity to improve our customer service. However, we clearly misunderstood this situation, when Mr. Storino arrived at the dealership, he expressed to us that he was not interested in looking at another vehicle, and was adamant about not being presented anything as he had already made his decision to purchase a different make and was concerned about how much time this would take. Mr. Storino stated that he simply wanted to purchase his current Ford lease and then trade it for a different make. We acknowledged his request, respected his wishes, and performed the request as he asked in a timely fashion. When the process was completed, Mr. Storino even thanked us for the speed of the transaction. We sincerely appreciate the feedback and are regretful Mr. Storino feels his experience was less than desired, our only intention was to respect his wishes and value his time. I was actually in a few days before with every intention of leasing another Ford truck. The salesman explained that because my lease was less that 120 days from the end I could not trade it in. I asked about purchasing it outright and then trading it in. He told me that he could only give me about $28k to $29k for the trade. He also looked into the lease on a truck similar to the one I was trading (without offering to show me anything) and told me it would be about $750 a month. I explained that I already had a cash offer from CarMax for $33,500 but he said he couldn't match that. I was frustrated and left. I came back 3 days later and bought the truck and explained to the nice lady in finance that I was going to trade it for a different make truck. I traded my 2018 F150 to a Dodge dealer for $33,600 and my monthly payment for a Dodge 1500 with the towing package I needed for a lease payment of $460/month. Ford- not just Ford of Upland - lost a family of customers for life. Especially since you found it necessary to dispute my original review...
