Carl Anderson was more knowledgeable about his products than any other car salesman to whom I spoke during my recent car shopping experience. I will never set foot on a Fred Anderson lot again. We tried to buy a 4 runner but they REFUSED to provide a price!!! I purchased a Toyota Solara convertible from Fred Anderson Toyota in February 2006. After much consideration, I spent close to $1700 on a service/insurance plan which was meant to be FULLY refunded Anderson Toyota in February 2006. After much consideration, I spent close to $1700 on a service/insurance plan which was meant to be FULLY refunded if the no claims were made against the plan in the 5 yr/100K. When I called the plan provider to get my refund earlier this year, I was told that the paperwork that was given to me by Fred Anderson was NOT a "Guaranteed Price Refund' plan. I contacted Mr. Thompson who had sold me the plan who said that there was nothing he could do. Basically I'm out $1664 for a plan which was misrepresented to me. I've contacted Better Business Bureau and basically got the same response. This is completely unacceptable. More
