I purchased a tundra from this dealer about 2-3 months ago. The day I drove it off of the lot, it overheated with a coolant issue. I brought it up to the dealership because I purchased a bumper to bumper ago. The day I drove it off of the lot, it overheated with a coolant issue. I brought it up to the dealership because I purchased a bumper to bumper warranty (expecting issues with an older vehicle... That's why I got the warranty...). They told me to wait while they took a look and got me more info. Long story short nobody told me anything and I waited 4 hours until I asked them for an update. They then told me it wouldn't be ready today and I wouldn't be able to get a rental to use while mine was being worked on. My adviser at this time was Jan, who was very rude and unhelpful. After requesting a manager, he loaned me one of the new vehicles and made things right. Fast forward 2 months later I am driving on 249 when my power steering goes out, brakes fail, and all power to the vehicle shuts off. I had to pay $180 to tow it to the dealership and have it looked at. Cristal is my adviser at this time. When it gets there again I have to argue for a rental. Eventually they tell me we won't know if the rental is approved until the warranty work is approved, so i put my card down and got one hoping it would be covered. The next day I got a report for 6 "immediate repairs needed" The total was close to $10,000 and the inspections were not finished. 4 days pass and I am asking for updates daily with no reply. Since i received no more information on a timeline i drove up to the dealership in person. I catch cristal and I tell her it is under warranty and the story of what needs to be repaired immediately changed. All of a sudden the repairs that were putting me in danger became driveable and not necessary. They told me to come back in 5000 miles to have it looked at again. Fast forward 5 hours Magically after showing up and complaining they get it approved and swap the alternator out (This is all they ended up doing) They gave me a sheet that says I refused the other services (I DID NOT)... and on top of everything else they left a bunch of scratches and damage on the side on my vehicle. I have to return Thursday to have them look at the extra damage they caused. More
I recently purchased a used Lexus from this dealership. It was a higher end vehicle, and while parts of the experience were positive, the overall lack of customer service was disappointing. My salesman was professional and easy to work with, and the young man who took me on the test drive was outstanding. Both were respectful, patient, and helpful. The two stars this dealership receives are solely because of them. Unfortunately, everything beyond that felt like a classic bait and switch experience. The finance manager was rude and dismissive once I declined the extended warranty and finance package. I simply could not afford it, yet instead of respecting my decision, he made the process uncomfortable. I was also pre approved through my bank, a nationally known institution, and he repeatedly acted as though he did not understand how to work with outside financing. My bank representatives were surprised and stated that he should be handling the process, not me. Because the deal was finalized at the end of the day, my salesman had already left when I finished in finance. As I was being walked out to my new car, I was handed only one key. When I asked where the second key was, I was told there was not one. I was shocked. Since I was not planning to buy a car that day, I did not have my trade in title or spare key with me. Despite my teaching and coaching responsibilities, I made the effort to drive nearly two hours in traffic the following week to bring everything back. Beforehand, I even called my salesman to ask about obtaining a second key and was told that having only one key is very common and that I could simply have another made. While there, I spoke directly with the pre owned manager, who told me to my face that receiving only one key is very common and even blamed COVID. As a female driver, being sent home with only one key to an expensive vehicle felt careless and unacceptable. I gave them an opportunity to make it right. They chose not to. I left feeling that once the sale was complete, customer care no longer mattered. Summary - Salesman and test drive assistant were excellent! Finance department and management were dismissive and unprofessional! This dealership has serious room for improvement when it comes to customer service and post sale integrity. More
The finance manager Craig Barrum at this location is very rude, condescending, arrogant and disrespectful . I’m a repeat customer and I will never come back here you lost my business. I contacted this dealership as a serious, pre-approved buyer for a Toyota Crown and worked with Vince Minuta. I repeatedly asked for one very basic and reasonable thing: a written out-the-door (OTD) price buyer for a Toyota Crown and worked with Vince Minuta. I repeatedly asked for one very basic and reasonable thing: a written out-the-door (OTD) price so I could review it with my bank before coming in. Instead of providing transparency, Vince refused to send a written quote, avoided giving clear numbers, and became dismissive and sarcastic, even saying, “You haven’t even seen the car so that’s kind of interesting,” simply because I wanted pricing in writing first. Every other dealership I contacted provided full written OTD quotes without any issue. This was the only dealership that made a straightforward request difficult and uncomfortable. I was truly ready to buy immediately, but the lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic respect completely turned me away. Buyers deserve clear pricing. Not pressure, deflection, or attitude. From my personal experience, I was very satisfied and happy dealing with them, and honestly, Fred Haas Toyota Country is the only place I trust and feel comfortable working with. The service was spot on. I got there a few minutes before my appointment and they got me checked in right away. I was told it would take about four hours or more. Jan Martin was fantastic for my 60k miles service on our Sienna. She’s direct, quick, clear and to the point. Excellent service, and they turned it around pretty quick. Dealer used our private address for unauthorized delivery of a transaction without any consent from the property owner. Vehicle is blocking our driveway and there were no documents or anything stating the ow of a transaction without any consent from the property owner. Vehicle is blocking our driveway and there were no documents or anything stating the owner of the vehicle or anything related to the vehicle. We have escalated the complaint to the TxDMV enforcement department and Texas attorney general’s office for such unethical business practices. More
