UPDATE 02/13 Fred Martin Superstore I read your response to my review. You claim to have done nothing unethical, but we were delivered a truck that had multiple issues. I need to mention, that I drove an F3 to my review. You claim to have done nothing unethical, but we were delivered a truck that had multiple issues. I need to mention, that I drove an F350 dually for many years, hauling horses, so I am very familiar with the feel of large trucks. If this felt normal to your techs, maybe they are the ones that need to be educated. The truck, which had just been "certified" arrived with a fog light out, in desperate need of an oil change, and starting inconsistently, which we were attributing to the cold weather. By the third day, the truck wouldn't start, and had to be towed to a dealership where it required a brand new starter which was luckily covered under the manufacturers warranty ($2500). After getting the truck back we took our first trip on the highway. Immediately upon reaching highway speeds we were very disappointed to find that the truck had a terrible humming noise AND strong, consistent vibration at around 65-75 mph, both of which should have been addressed after your tech, supposedly drove the truck before certifying it. Additionally the alignment was off. My husband inspected the tires and noticed that there was obvious excess wear on the outer edges of both front tires. The first dealer we had gone to was unable to do alignment on a large truck, so we took it to a second dealer where it sat for 4 weeks waiting to be checked out by a certified diesel mechanic. That technician immediately agreed that the tires SHOULD NOT have passed the certification process, AND the hum and vibration were NOT NORMAL. He informed us that the truck needed 2 new front tires, alignment/balance, AND a steering damper for starters to see if this would address the hum and vibration. We have driven this truck a total of a couple hundred miles... Tires are not covered under warranty, of course, and any quality, reputable dealership would take responsibility for leaving a paying customer with such a mess. Our local Ram dealer reiterated that this truck should never have passed the certification process and suggested we hold on to the tires and provided us with your corporate number. I'll be sure to update my original review and my husband is anxious to leave his. 02/12 I have never, ever left a negative review before, but... From start to finish, purchasing a vehicle from this dealership was less than unpleasant. We have now owned a "Certified" truck from them for 2 months, that has spent more time in the shop than with us. The truck came with a list of problems. A lot of the work has been covered under the manufacturers warranty (lucky them), but the truck has a terrible shake at highway speeds, and they are refusing to pay for 2 new tires to replace tires that should not have passed the "certification" inspection (verified by another dealership). I highly recommend looking elsewhere to purchase a vehicle, but if you do buy from them, have the vehicle inspected by a third party before closing the deal. I never imagined a business would be so deceitful and unethical. More
This is the continuation from my previous review that got cut short. The first call I received was from Ashley, 2 days after the deal asking for the down payment that I had not agreed to. Then an email from Rhonda stating that she would have to pay the money because she failed to collect the money when we signed the deal and to leave it alone, she would pay it. I didn’t think that was fair so I contacted Mark, the finance manager. He was going to check it out. Then I received a call from Lonnie telling me that he would drive to my house and take the vehicle back. Personally, I found that threatening. I told him to have Mark contact me. When he did I informed him of how I felt about that call from Lonnie. Once again, he’d check it out. Either later that day or the next I received a call from Jerome, who immediately started questioning my word as a man and a veteran! I couldn’t believe this! In my opinion this boy is a total weasel! How dare he! Once again, back to Mark. I got no satisfaction from him whatsoever! I agreed finally that I was responsible for the thousand, albeit begrudgingly, because it was on the contract I signed. However, the customer service from Lonnie (aka the threat person), Jerome (aka the weasel), and Mark was totally unacceptable for a business! I’m retired Army, a retired Postal Service Supervisor. I know a little and these folks don’t have a clue! Run away! More

I would recommend people to her 100% HOWEVER .... helping her was the salesman Nick.... the young guy and he was the complete opposite. Rude, arrogant, and honestly the worst customer service ive ever experienced. If it wasn’t for Amy, I would have left. Nick needs to find a career not working with customers. More

They never showed us the price of the vehicle we were shopping for , never told us what they were giving us for our trade in and tried to rush thru a deal just because they thought they were dealing with people who don't know how to buy cars. They tried to construct a deal with no numbers, then submitted the deal with out the customer knowing what was being submitted. A shotgun blast as its called. Under bid on trade in by over 7,000.00 dollars. When The general manger was confronted about the deal, (BRETT SMITH), he chose to be rude, arrogant and very pompous. He stated his dealership was the biggest i the county and he didn't need my business to begin with. He became abusive, used slurs towards the customer and demanded the conversation be over, instead of looking at the issue and helping the customer thru the navigation of the wrongly structured deal, he chose to berate, use slurs and call the customer names like the customer was a beaten dog. These people do not care, if you don't want to do a deal the way they want to, they will ask you to leave the dealership. Desk manager Dave lied numerous times thru the course of the deal and was caught in lies time and time again, mostly relating to submittal finances for a customer that buys a brand new car every year. (just not from them) -Sidenote the FIAT store smells like urine, because the bathrooms are disgusting and resemble a cow barn. Urine all over the floor and walls, nobody has cleaned this bathroom in months it looks like. They will not tell the price of vehicle before finance, they will not tell you the money they will pay for your trade in until you are almost ready to sign, then they lay it all out, when normal dealers will give you numbers before even taking a name. Do not shop at this data collecting, hot house of a dealership. Moral of the story here is More
