STAY AWAY, DECEPTIVE OUT TO RIPP YOU OFF Brought my 2009 Town and Country with 57,000 due to a transmission problem (car would not reverse), Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (1). Never provided with an true estimate for the cost of the work. Kevin, service advisor, indicated he couldn't provide as he was unsure of how much the labor would be. (2) Never contacted me indicating the first transmission put in the car did not work (car would not reverse with the new transmission). Dealer put in a 2nd transmission unbeknownst to me. (3) Contacted dealership to pick up car and customer service rep indicated the car was under warranty. (4) Picked up the car, signed paperwork indicating no charge, transmission was under warranty. (5) Contacted 1 hour later after picked up car demanding I pay $5200 or bring back the car to the dealership as they made a mistake. (6) Harassed via phone - dealership was calling both my home phone and cell phone literally every two minutes (I was on a work conference call at the time phone was ringing off the hook). Contacted Freehold Township police and filed a harassment report. Note: Not once did a receive an apology for the general manager or anyone for that matter. I now have a lawyer involved to resolve. I would steer clear.. they are all about the money not about customer service. Avoid at all costs. More

The high pressure sales came in and said the deal is based on me taking the vehicle that same day. I wanted to go through my credit union to finance a portion of the car, but the credit union was closed for the holiday. I would have to come back the next day. We were then told, they can write up a contract, so I can take the car now, and then pay off the car with my credit union loan. I left a deposit, but when asked to see detail or paperwork, I never did get it, other than the fact I gave a deposit (my bad for not insisting hard enough). When I came back the next day, I still asked to see the detail. After plenty of verbal numbers being tossed out, I finally grabbed a pen and asked for the detail so I can write it out (I desperately wanted to see, as all the fast talk made me uncomfortable) and the car cost was significantly higher than what I agreed to. Tommy (the sales guy) made it seem as if it were explained, to my wife (and even me). The documentation fee was not the surprise, because when I asked for all the fees, they did say there was a $495 documentation fee (most dealers are about the same). It was a new fee called used car prep fee of $990. In fact it was never a separate line item. They just lumped it on top of the negotiated price. Then I heard a lot of back peddling (he said, she said type of debate). They said they would ask management if they can do anything to make me a happy customer again. I was very reasonable and was even willing to split the $990 (after all, I already hade the car and no leverage which was very strategic on their part and foolish on mine). They came back to me after one minute and said there is nothing they can do. The fee is a real cost to clean up used cars and take out any dents or scratches, etc. . . The worst part of the experience is the tone and attitude change with no interest to do anything. I was very reasonable, that it would not have cost them much to make me happy. They are very tactical short term thinkers. Unless someone really stepped up to support me on my case, it's hard to imagine me or family member going back to this dealership. More
terrible customer service from higher management I recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee which had been recalled and NEVER told to me. 2 weeks after the purchase date, my family and I went on I recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee which had been recalled and NEVER told to me. 2 weeks after the purchase date, my family and I went on vacation and while traveling to upstate New York the car seized up , we smelled a burning smell could not get it into park and had to let it stall to shut off, eventually have it towed to a New York dealer. In the end the fault was with the Freehold service department who had improperly installed a wiring harness on the exhaust and potentially could have caused a fire. During our vacation we had no transportation for 6 days. When the car was repaired I brought it to Freehold for testing and tried several times to reach the GM and store Manager to discuss this situation and NEVER have they had the courtesy to return a call. This is lousy customer service, and I am still waiting for a response. More

Found the perfect car quick and easy I went into this dealership just looking around at the different Jeeps they had and was happy to see that they had a big selection of all the differen I went into this dealership just looking around at the different Jeeps they had and was happy to see that they had a big selection of all the different jeep models. Soon enough i found the perfect car, a White Jeep Renegade and the last one too. My family and i couldn't do business that day so we asked if they could hold it. The salesmen said yes but he wouldn't guarantee anything. however 3 days later the car was still there, even after 5 people asked to buy it. This dealership is great, make sure to check it out and when you do, make sure to ask for Nicholas DeFilippis. He gave us a great deal and was a pleasure to work with. More

I had the pleasure of dealing with Nicky DeFilippis, and I want to say he was a total gentle I went to this dealership to look at a Chrysler Concorde. I had the pleasure of dealing with Nicky DeFilippis, and I want to say he was a total gentleman and a true professional. He treated me with respect and was honest throughout the whole experience. If your in the market for a new or used car this place and Nicky are well worth looking at. Needless to say I purchased the car and was also very surprised how fast and organized the whole process was. I was out of there within an hour and on the road with a great deal on a great car.Thank you again Nicky, and the whole amazing staff at Freehold Chrysler Jeep.
