Immediately we were welcomed with smiles by William Sherman,who almost instantly introduced us to Mike Melendy. From that moment a sigh of relief came over me. I thought to myself is he really a salesmen? Where's his pushiness and all the other negative characteristics that should follow. Actually, Mike could not be anymore different. He asked us what we wanted in terms of a car, we test drove and sat down. He did not try and push anything more than what WE WANTED on us. While we sat and talked we were greeted with smiles and hellos from many of the people on his team. Each asking if we were okay and needed anything. Including his son Gian who was a complete pleasure to sit with and talk about non car topics what a smart young man. When Mike came back we discussed payment options and again he basically gave us what we wanted. His wife Kristina worked out our numbers and finalized our deal. She sure is good at what she does and knows her stuff. We weren't sure if this experience was too good to be true, so we left that night without the car. On our way home we stopped for dinner and basically discussed our visits to this dealership (along with others) and within a few hours we knew...just as we did when we left Freehold Hyundai that we would be driving a new Hyundai. Mike, Kristina, William, Gian and Kevin each played a significant role in this purchase, but Mike Melendy stands out the most. If you're looking for a matter of fact, straight forward, no nonsense guy who knows the buisness, hands down he's your man! He has made life long customers out of us and we told him this. I may never drive anything other than a Hyundai and I am okay with that as long as I am dealing with Mike. I 100% recommend him and freehold hyundai for any vehicle purchase in your future! More
