Doug went above and beyond to get information for me if he didn't have it handy, worked hard to find the car with the packages I wanted, hammered away with management to get us the best price, and set me up properly to drive the car off the lot. Service dept wasted my time and fixed nothing Brought my 2013 Genesis there for warranty repair work. Back up cam worked on and off and had gotten air bag light. Made appt and requested loaner. Took loaner and left. Got call next day saying they couldn't duplicate back up cam issue and they couldn't fix without seeing it happen. I asked Percy my service advisor, what about air bag light? He said that the code was an old one that was stored in the history from when air bag had been fixed 6 months ago by another dealer and that it was never cleared. This was complete nonsense. I told him air bag was repaired, code cleared and stayed that way for 6 months. He said "well the technician cleared the code out of the history" I told him that when a code comes up it gets stored in the history. That's where is shows, that's why they saw it there! He assured me it was fixed with no issues and just wanted to know when I would be returning loaner. It appeared to me that the main concern was when I was bringing the loaner back. I returned car. Next day air bag light back on and stayed on. Nice call! So I dropped car for 2 days, got nothing fixed, and had to make appt with different dealer to remedy problem. It seems to me they should've been a little more concerned with fixing my car and less about when loaner was coming back. I wouldn't recommend going here for service. More
