A really pleasant buying experience We spent a day visiting dealers (9 to be exact) and test driving small SUV's. The experience at this dealership was very different than the rest of o We spent a day visiting dealers (9 to be exact) and test driving small SUV's. The experience at this dealership was very different than the rest of our day. They have a no xx approach, the price is the price, the sales guys aren't pushy, and everyone was friendly. Our sales guy Todd Ruggiero was a bit new and was a breath of fresh air in an industry where people are always trying to close the deal and upsell. This guy really just wanted us to find the car that fit us and spoke to us like a normal person instead of a sales robot. We told him that we were comparing all of the cars in that size (we drove the Santa Fe sport) and that when our research was done we were going to make a decision. At the end of our very long day, we were between the Santa Fe and another vehicle and my wife and I looked at each other and agreed that we wanted to buy a car from the place and the guy that made us feel good about it. So we called Todd, went back a few days later, and bought the car. I felt like the rest of the process at Freehold Hyundai was the same as the shopping process. The trade in value on my old car was pretty high and reasonable, the price was the price, they looked for any rebates possible, and the numbers were the numbers. Again, no xx. When it came to signing with the finance guy, Ryan (maybe?), it was the same. These are the numbers, there are some protection plans if you want them, these are the prices. Have a great day, let us know if you need anything, enjoy your new vehicle. Pleasant start to finish. We even got a call from Todd a few days later asking if we were enjoying the new car and if we had any questions about it now that we had it for a few days. You never know. I walked into the dealership - a 5 foot tall blonde in sweats - because my car died that day. They called over Jaren Pollard, who with a big smile (and on his day off I later learned) sat with me and explained the company policy and helped me get the perfect car for me, a Veloster in marathon blue (which took a few days to get). I put a deposit on the car because I was confident working with Jaren. Jaren made sure it was perfect and that I was 100% happy and satisfied.
