Despite the incredibly busy time, he and the staff were thorough and cheerful (including some sports talk!). I've reinstated a few stars. FOLLOW UP EDIT: When I got a tire patched, the mechanics showed me that the tires were dangerously worn down; bad enough that I was advised to replace at least 2 within a month and the other 2 within a month after. I personally saw the wear and took pictures, so this was not a sales pitch by the mechanic. I bought Certified Pre-Owned: so it passed the >100 item checklist to pass Hyundai standards. It had <25K miles and I've driven it only 3K miles in the year I've had it. They had to have been badly worn already because there's no way to go from 25K "normal wear" to dangerously worn 3K miles later. All 5 of the mechanics on staff agreed. These tires should not have passed CPO standards. I contacted the dealer. Cara replied and tried to GASLIGHT me. A: Not driving much could cause dry rot. (the problem is WEAR, not dry rot. And I drive every day.) B: Improper tire rotation could cause premature wear (Typical tire rotation is 5K-7K miles, when I get the oil changed. Hadn't come up time yet). C. "Being that the time has been over a year, there's not much we can do." (it's been over a year by ONE DAY. Bought Nov 2024, this happened Dec 1 2025). I responded with FACTS, and asked what CAN they do? She stopped answering. I'm beyond disappointed, not to mention offended. I'm almost more aggravated by her trying to gaslight me than the dealer not upholding the CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED standards. I'm downgrading my original 5 star rating to 2.5. ______________________________________________________________ The service and atmosphere at the dealership was stellar from the start. The first contact person was informative, respectful and accommodating for my disability. Once I got to the dealership, Nikki was a joy to work with. While we waited for my test drive, she used the time to inform me of everything available, how the sales transaction would proceed, and to consult her colleagues about any questions she couldn't answer. She was totally relaxed during the test drive. My interactions with other departments were just as great - smooth and informative. They showed me how easy and stress free buying a car could actually be, in contrast to other dealerships I'd already walked out on. Also, it was clear that the staff worked well together. It was very busy, but they were able to support each other with information or hands on help; the "vibe" was friendly, respectful and relaxed, though fast paced. This is a team that makes sure you get the car you want, and that you feel good about every aspect of the purchase. More
