Great service without heavy-handed sales approach or tricks and gimmickry--they wanted to sell a car and I wanted to buy one. So it was a win-win both ways. Sales rep, Mike Baumert, was responsive and patient, knew his cars, and stayed with me until he found the right one--even after I was settling for another. When the big dog entered (she said with a smile), Sales Manager Pete Farina, he was skillful at getting me where he wanted me to be, yet fair in approach and negotiation. In all truthfulness, I can be a difficult sell and just the night before I left a deal on the table at another dealership--after 3 hrs of driving cars--based on principle because of the condescending attitude of the sales manager. I was prepared to do the same at Freehold Hyundai if I had to, but Mike, especially, sealed the deal with his expertise and assistance, probably earlier than he may have thought he had. Highly recommend--although they need better coffee! More

This was the best car buying experience i have ever had. Bill was pleasant, patient, answered my questions(even when i asked them several times) and showed me everything on the car and how it worked. I did a lot of research over the past few months on different cars and I kept coming back to the Hyundai Sonata. I had visited another Hyundai dealership and as much as I loved the car, I refused to b different cars and I kept coming back to the Hyundai Sonata. I had visited another Hyundai dealership and as much as I loved the car, I refused to buy the car from the salesman that I was dealing with. I decided to try another location. I ended up a Freehold Hyundai because I have friends that live nearby (I live in Brooklyn, NY). The minute I walked in the door I realized that I was dealing with people who car about you...not just about selling you a car. The salesman was able to answer every single one of my questions about the car...something the salesman at the previous dealership could not...he had to keep getting up to ask the manager. I didn't realize that a car buying experience could be so enjoyable. I felt like I was being treated like family. I had no idea that I would walk into the dealership that day and be driving home in my new car that night! I do not have one complaint about the experience. I even told them that if I have friends or family looking to purchase a car that live by me, I would personally drive them down to Freehold to deal with these great people. I received a follow-up email the day after my purchase and a follow-up phone call 2 days later just to check in to make sure that I didn't have any questions or concerns about the car. In closing, I would highly recommend this dealer. More
