Since COVID, we had downgraded to 1 vehicle only. Our Nissan lease was ending in June. After doing A TON of research - I was interested in finding a Hyundai Palisade. Before my current lease, I had s Our Nissan lease was ending in June. After doing A TON of research - I was interested in finding a Hyundai Palisade. Before my current lease, I had sold my 10-year old Hyundai Elantra and was ready to go back to the Hyundai family. It's understandable that the business of selling is hard to trust so before moving forward with "looking" for the right vehicle our family - I looked up reviews on the NJ Hyundai dealerships. I found positive reviews on Freehold Hyundai and Genesis of Freehold at 4065 Route 9 North. After a birthday party with my 6 year old, he asked if we can go to the dealership and test drive some vehicles. We were partnered up to work with Nikki Elmore. Nikki was friendly and great with my 6-year old. He was very outspoken about what he wanted (which showed how comfortable and welcoming Nikki had made him feel). We found out that there was one certified used Palisade on the lot. We test drove it along with a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe. We met Kyle. Truthfully, even the used vehicle was out of price range (when you think of the monthly payments)..he gave us a walk out the door price that would lessen it to a manageable amount. We walked away that day not sure of whether it was the right fit for us. The following day, Nikki had followed up along with others in the dealership. I had given it one more try to see if they are able to work on the price we needed to be at and they were. During the final part of the purchase process - everyone was eager to answer my questions/concerns. I was VERY pleased with the customer service. I did not feel that they take advantage of customers - they do try their best to take care of you. I know I was a hard customer to convince but eventually the way they didn't push me to do something I are not comfortable with is really why I moved forward with the purchase. The only feedback I would have to give is that I had a lease I needed to turn in and I wish someone was more forthcoming about the information on the credit I was entitled to ahead of just seeing the breakdown in the paperwork. So we are happy to say we have our Hyundai Palisade and hopefully forever Hyundai family at Freehold Hyundai. More
