I purchased a car today and was surprised that I was not attacked by sales people. I walked the lot for hours assessing my needs without harassment. Finally I found a new car that I wanted and summoned a salesman (Bob). The entire Freehold sales and administrative crew was excellent. Courteous, empathetic and made the experience feel like a day at the mall. Finance dept was great... Right to the point and good disclosure for those that fear car sales people (like me). If you are a first time new car buyer this is the place to go because they will not screwdriver you. Common sense is that you read your contract in self-defense, no different than that of buying anything. For now, I am a Freehold Subaru customer for future purchase and kudos to Bob, cool salesman. More

We were especially pleased with our salesman Mike. He showed us a Forester we choose and was very patient to answer every single question we've had, made us an educated buyer. Then we've negotiated the price and Mike made every possible effort to meet our range. And then when we've decided to shop a little more, he let us go, just asked to call. After we've started working with an agent at other Subaru dealer, we've appreciated the service we've had in Freehold and did not want to continue. They started pressure us and we literally were not able to leave. Next day we've returned to Freehold Subaru and agreed to the offer we've received. After all paperwork was done, Mike has spent another hour with us showing every single detail and feature in our new car. That was an outstanding service. We've promised to return back, if we need another car for the family or friends. I also want to mention our financial guy, sorry forgot his name. That was also very professional and no hidden charges. Thank you guys. We wish you a continue success in your excellent work More

A very simple and streamlined purchase with the best price I purchased my first vehicle from this dealer. The experience was fast (a little over an hour to leave with the car) and stress free. We were able to purchase the vehicle with all cash, however Chris recommended that I finance a small portion to build my nonexistent credit. More

They are thorough, quick and accomodating I had two occasions to use this Service Department. The first was associated with a dead battery. Since this was a new car -- several weeks old -- I I had two occasions to use this Service Department. The first was associated with a dead battery. Since this was a new car -- several weeks old -- I was quite concerned, hoping that it was my error (leaving something on) rather than something wrong with the alternator or the battery itself. Fortunately, it was my error as the battery was jumped and held its charge without any further issues over the last 5 months. What impressed me most was that the Service Department Manager asked to keep my car for an extra day to conduct extensive testing of the electrical systems to make certain nothing was overlooked and the car was truly road-worthy. The second instance was for the first of my free, lifetime oil changes (a value-added benefit from Freehold Subaru dealer). They suggested, but did not push, a tire rotation, which at $22 I thought a bit higher than a local garage; but not outrageous. I felt I was treated fairly. And again, they suggested but did not push the tire rotation, as a good thing to do to extend tire life. It was very easy to schedule a Saturday morning appointment. The service was performed quickly while waited in a comfortable customer lounge. More importantly, I received a phone and email follow-up from the Service Manager enquiring about my satisfaction and offering his direct number should there be anything that was not to my liking. I like the way this Service Department treats is customers and I highly recommend them as well as the dealer. PS -- I LOVE my outback! More

Sales I mentioned them about my appointment, showing them the e-mail from there dealership. The vehicle that we are looking for as specified .The sales rep I mentioned them about my appointment, showing them the e-mail from there dealership. The vehicle that we are looking for as specified .The sales rep showed us the car and also went for a test drive . we went straight to the point about purchasing the car if the price was right as specified in the e-mail. The deal went thru and we took the car home same day. It was so simple that it took them around 2 hours to process all the necessary paper work.. I strongly recommend this dealership to my friends.
