From arranging for an appointment by phone, arriving at appointed time for service, being checked in, arranging for 90K maintenance service to receiving car back timely with service accomplished I was plea appointed time for service, being checked in, arranging for 90K maintenance service to receiving car back timely with service accomplished I was pleased with the attention I received by the customer friendly, professional personnel at your establishment. However, upon reading my invoice, and of course understanding that this service at so many miles would be pricey, I did not understand why it referenced "customer requesting preferred service" when I was not aware of different levels of service options (if that is what this means). An explanation would be appreciated before subsequent visits. More

AJ MOHABAT-SALES Manager ruined my NEW CAR EXPERIENCE on 5/23/2021. He is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL,& RAISED HIS VOICE while talking to me. I only agreed to complete my new car purchase if I was guaranteed tha 5/23/2021. He is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL,& RAISED HIS VOICE while talking to me. I only agreed to complete my new car purchase if I was guaranteed that I would not have to see him during remainder of the purchase process. It has now been approx. a month since my car purchase & I regret not walking out of the dealership at that moment and going elsewhere to purchase my new car. I was already pre-approved for my car loan through my credit union when I went Fremont Toyota and had Ashley Onzo (internet sales department) as my sales person. My sister also was with me when purchasing my car and confirmed that AJ MOHABAT was very rude & unprofessional while speaking to me regarding how he was not "GOING TO SELL ME THE CAR!" unless he had a "CASHIER'S CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT OF THE CAR". AJ MOHABAT raised his voice really loud, where other customers near by could hear the conversation and they began to look over to see what the commotion was all about. AJ M. said that if I wanted to purchase the car he needed a cashier check in the amount of total car purchase price and since, it was "after bank hours" the only other way that he could sell me the car was if they ran my credit history at the dealership. I explained that I was already pre-aprroved for my car loan & I did not want my credit check run again because it would be considered a "hard-mark" on my credit history that would stay on there for 2 years before it would "fall off". AJ M. then proceeded to argue with me (with his raised voice) and claim that running my credit check "will not effect my credit history in any way". I told him that I know for a fact that running my credit history would leave a "hard mark" and it would affect me especially, if I decided to purchase a house in the next 2 years. He then continued to argue that my information was incorrect and that in his personal experience the "hard mark" that stay on credit historys do not affect they buyer. He then stated in his rude, loud voice that if I wanted "to purchase the car", they would need to "run my credit history". At that moment, I needed to walk out of the dealership to compose myself because he basically had me at tears & I was not going to cry in front of him. After a few minutes, I walked back in & spoke to Ashley who basically, told me that the finance department said that Fremont Toyota does not have a "direct partnership" with my credit union and that is why in order to purchase the car on that day (Sunday 5/23/2021) the finance department would need to run my credit history; to see if the new car can be financed through Toyota Financial because that would be the "back-up" plan in case my credit union decided not to cover my car loan. (On a side note my credit union did finance my car loan.) Ashley did an excellent job explaining what issue was regarding my pre-appved car loan and I do not understand why her sales manager AJ MOHABAT felt the need to come over and be very RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL to deliver a complicated version instead of how Ashley O. delivered the message. The only thing makes sense to me is that AJ MOHABAT wanted his name to be listed as part of the Toyota Associates who "helped in the purchase process" of my new car. Therefore, he would get some type of credit or commission from the sale of my new car. Regardless, of the excellent service that I received from Ashley who deserves 5 stars, Fremont Toyota deserves ZERO stars as a result of their sales manager AJ MOHABAT who "RUINED MY CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE". As a result, of my negative car buying experience I am telling family, friends, co-workers, and even a bank teller about the bad customer service from AJ MOHABAT at Fremont Toyota and telling them to tell all of their friends and family about my negative car buying experience at Fremont. Overall, as you can tell I am still very upset about how my car buying experience was RUINED by the sales manager after, I has spent weeks and months researching the New Toyota car I purchased. I am hoping this lengthy review gets to corporate headquarters. More
