Absolute worst dealership experience of my life! After my wife and I dropped our brand-new 2024 Toyota Corolla for it’s first maintenance appointment a Toyota employee parked our car inappropriately After my wife and I dropped our brand-new 2024 Toyota Corolla for it’s first maintenance appointment a Toyota employee parked our car inappropriately and dangerously in non-parking space along the three one-way service lanes despite numerous open and safe spots available in the adjacent parking lot. As my wife backed out slowly and carefully a tow truck driver—unsafely allowed in the service lanes—backed a towed car more than 25 feet into our car crushing the back driver-side door and sending shattered glass throughout the car’s interior. Damage caused is more than $6,000. The most insulting and unbelievable aspect was that not a single Toyota employee of more than ten even asked my wife if she was hurt or needed help. They just stood there more than 20 yards away taking turns staring, talking, or as one employee did, finding amusement in what happened. The only advice was that they’re not responsible and we should call the police. The tow truck company would not provide their insurance information or give any names. The driver left as he had another pickup they were late for. Four days later and despite the clear errors and unsafe SOP’s this Fremont Toyota staff and dealership follow, and our repeated calls—some dealing with very rude and uncompassionate employees—we have yet to have any return call from executive management that was away at a conference that day. And after purchasing five Toyotas in 20 years, we will NOT recommend Fremont Toyota or go there for any purchase nor servicing under the current franchise ownership ever again. I am deeply grateful my wife did not need medical attention as I can only imagine where our family would be as a result of these indolent bystanders. More
Pat was welcoming & easy to talk to. Great follow up on when vehicle was ready around noon. Had an appointment at 930am on a Saturday so expect to wait for a couple of hours. I called to schedule an appointment because my car has a recall notification but the dealership transferred me 7 times. First, operator to service then service rep said, I will transfer you to Parts to chec recall notification but the dealership transferred me 7 times. First, operator to service then service rep said, I will transfer you to Parts to check if they have the parts. When I talked to parts, the person who answered said, how can I assist? I said I have a recall notification and he immediately said you have to talk to service and transferred me. The person who answered said, this is rental. I explained that I’ve been transferred around but all I need is to get scheduled for a recall issue on my Toyota Tacoma. I got transferred back to the operator. I said, service please. While in the process of getting transferred, someone answered then put me back on hold. Finally, someone answered and I said again for the nth time service please. When someone picked up the call, I said look I’ve been transferred 7 times can I please get a schedule to fix the recall issue? The lady asked if I checked with parts and I said no because I was immediately transferred to another department. I asked, why is it my job to find out if there’s parts available for a recall I got a text message and a letter for? I insisted to get a schedule the next day- Saturday since I don’t have work. She did schedule me but that whole experience was such a bad customer experience. I hope Toyota Fremont can fix this issue because it’s not acceptable to be transferred multiple times and to be asked to verify if the part for the recall is available. If a car company has a recall notification to customers, isn’t it the job of the dealership to make sure everything is available so customers can have a seamless experience? More

I brought my car in for service and left it there for about an hour. Upon picking up my car I noticed that my tire had damage to it. They had scrapped one of my rims. I’ve contacted the service team 4 ti about an hour. Upon picking up my car I noticed that my tire had damage to it. They had scrapped one of my rims. I’ve contacted the service team 4 times and I am yet to hear back from them. I was told to expect a call next day in the morning and have not received any communication from Toyota. Very disappointed and truly frustrated that this has not been addressed More
