Appointment doesn't really matter My master warning light came on in my Tacoma so I made an appointment for 10:45am a couple days later which (was the first available). When I arrived My master warning light came on in my Tacoma so I made an appointment for 10:45am a couple days later which (was the first available). When I arrived I was in a three lane line about 3 cars back. They told me to wait in my car so I waited and waited and waited... the line finally started to move up one car and I asked what the hold up was since I had been there 30 minutes. I got a very dismissive "it's busy". I argued that my appointment time was long gone and what is the point of making one in the first place when I got another dismissive response..." holiday weekend". It was the Friday before the 4th of July during a pandemic. Again what is the purpose of an appointment?? I was about to make them back out the 4 cars behind me so I could leave when the service manager came out and from then on had great service. Steve Sako is great but up until then I wanted to scream. If Steve had not come out when he did and made the day better I would never go back. The person putting numbers on cars did a very poor job of directing traffic and communicating to those waiting. Don't take appointments if you are going to make everyone wait the same. Or come up with a better method. More
