I have had a Civic Hybrid for the last 8 years and was planning on at least 8 more. I loved that car and its 5 speed manual transmission, something not seen very often any more. When I discovered a few weeks ago that the hybrid batteries were going bad and that the car would not necessarily pass inspection in another month, I lamented to my service tech, Brian Walsh, that I would have to give up the standard transmission. Not so he said, just get a Civic LX, it can come with that transmission and your mileage will be almost as good as with the hybrid. A voila! Rick Studler checked and found out that there was one, only one, Civic LX with a standard transmission coming in this very week and thus I have now taken possession of one heck of a holiday gift! Thanks to Paul Hoffman for working out a reasonable payment plan and to all for getting the car ready for me. Perfect! I am looking forward to putting many miles and many years on this baby, thank you!! More

John was extremely proactive and attentive to our thoughts and needs without ever being pushy or getting frustrated by our indecisiveness. We did find the security program used at the end of the process to be invasive of our privacy and quite obviously not up to its designated task of confirming our identity and confirming we weren't up to something nefarious since it was asking if we had ever lived in a city called Apo. Luckily we were in the company of a former marine who certainly understood what APO really is. We both hold top secret clearances and found the program invasive of our privacy and to no avail. We would also prefer to have the offers of extended warranties and such be part of the basic sales process and not a final sales push from the supervisor. As for the Honda Fit the only criticism to date is the lack of a map light in the basic model - map lights should be part of the basic layout - they're essential not optional. Once again we would like to reiterate the fact that John was exceptionally supportive and effective and we hope the service folks at Friendly are as professional and considerate. Earl Graves More

It was my first vist to Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie. I have a 2000 Cadillac DeVille DTS that had 85,000 miles and I wanted a new car. The car I liked was a 2008 Black Honda Accord V-6 Fully Load. This Saturday morning I came with a check for $21,000.00 from the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. I love my new car. Its not a Cadillac, but, the car is loaded and has a moon roof. Leather Seats and it looks like a New 2012 Honda Accord. Friendly Honda has a good customer service department and a good sales department. Thank you to Manager Mike Lombardo for his help.
