Took the truck in for a recall and during the process they let me know of another problem they found. They wanted to keep it over night because they had the door apart. Had my eyes on this car for about 5 months. Went to look at it and met Mr. O'Dowd. Took it out for a test drive. In about 15 minutes, we made a deal. Well the salesman was pretty good and prompt and accirate when answeri f my questions except for one thing. They sold me a truck with an open safety recall! I didn't think that would be legal. I asked about recalls and they told me "we'll take care of that" then later after I took possesion and connected my phone to the truck I found out that there is an open safety recall. When I called the dealership they scheduled me for service. I dropped my key off in the morning in the drop box and just went to pick up my truck this afternoon only to find out that they hadn't touched it. They claimed it wasnt in the box. We went out to unlock the box and there was the key. What a moron. I know the key was there at 630 and the man said he checked in the morning and someone else checked at 7. Why didnt they call if they didnt think it was there?? Why did they sell me a car with safety problems in the first place? Dont think Ill be going back unless their service department can get it together. Pathetic. More
