I brought my truck in for an oil change and to check tire pressure and fix the light that was out in my dash. I was told by 2 people it would be 45 mins. I waited 1 hour and 45 mins (and the only thing they did was change my oil! I was told I needed to make another appointment for the light on my dash). I explained to the older woman at the service desk (Maryann?) that I had somewhere to be and that I would have liked someone to have been up front with me about the time involved. I even said, "I know this isn't your fault, but I've been here an hour and 45 minutes..." which is an opener for an apology. She seemed disinterested and detached, handed me my paperwork and told me I needed my brakes looked at (incidentally, I never asked them to look at my brakes!) This is horrible customer service! A sincere apology would have remedied the entire situation but it was never given. I will absolutely NOT return to Gale Toyota. I can go to Sears and get an oil change in 25 minutes. For any additional work Sears always lets you know exactly how long you will be waiting and, should you choose to leave, communicates via phone to let you know how things are going. Perhaps most important, their staff is friendly and is quick to take ownership should anything unexpected occur. I work with the public as well and this is just poor customer service. Very disappointing.
