Overcharge for service My son has an older civic, had some battery problems and stopped in galpin honda. He was told he needed a new alternator and that it would cost $700 My son has an older civic, had some battery problems and stopped in galpin honda. He was told he needed a new alternator and that it would cost $700 to install. Fortunately, his battery was under warranty and because he didn't have enough money, he chose to wait on the alternator. My son was able to find the part for $120 and have it installed for $85 the next day. I'm extremely disappointed and upset that Galpin Honda would exploit my son and charge such an outrageous amount, and they also charged him $135 to change the battery and do the inspection- guess they couldn't let him leave without getting a good amount from him. We will never buy anything from this dealership again and WILL let everyone we know how much they overcharge for services. More

But I needed to post about an employee at Galpin Honda in Mission Hills. Her name is "Amanda Uncapher". My experience with her was beyond awesome her personality is amazing she's super funny, chill and easy to talk too. Which made the experience relaxing not overwhelming or tense. She was fast with the whole process paper work and everything no waiting around, As well as getting you the best deal she can. Once you got done with the paper work she had your car ready for you no waiting around for that too. My family and I have gotten 3 new cars in just a spand of six months with her so that should already tell you she's a great person to work with. I got a "2017 Honda Civic EX-T Turbo" I'm in love with my car I couldn't be anymore happier. Thank you so much Amanda. Hugo was able to answer all my questions & provide a lot of helpful information that goes along with the process. What was a great customer experience turned into 5 Star Customer Service when Hugo offered to pick me up at work so I didn't have to be concerned about finding a ride or figuring out what to do with my rental car. So I was able to drive my new car off the lot a day later once I met Don Rhodie who met Hugo & me at Galpin. After completing the forms and payment options with Oscar.
