The worst purchase experience of my life Honestly, that was the worst experience I have ever had buying anything anywhere in my life. The sales person I worked with was ubseqious, deceptive, manipulative, dismissive and overbearing. I was rushed and pressured to agree to a deal immediately and then waited for (4+?) hours to sign the paperwork which was filled out so incorrectly by the Galpin team that I had to drive in TWICE on my own time and dime and personally pay for a notary service to correct the mistakes. All told I probably spent 12 hours of my life (nearly eight of which was during my first visit) just to buy my new vehicle. I have already been warning all of my friends, family and coworkers to, under no circumstances, even consider your dealership for any purpose. My wife needed a new car a few weeks ago and we never even considered returning, in fact she probably would have divorced me if I had suggested it. We went to another dealer an hour away and even including travel time we were home with our new car in a third of the time it took with your dealership and everything was filed quickly conveniently and correctly. The check engine light came on last weekend and I happily went to another local Honda dealership for service rather than return. In the future I will gladly pay thousands more to avoid having to buy another vehicle from Galpin in Mission Hills and will continue to vehemently recommend my friends to do the same. Update: Well time to update. It's now been approximately a year since I (unfortunately) bought my car at Galpin and I still remember and often recount the insanely horrible experience I had there. I'm updating because I just found out the car I bought brand new from them was supposed to come with a standard accessory that they apparently removed before selling me the car. I'm not sure if that counts as theft but now I have to buy a standard accessory out of pocket to cover their mistake (theft?) I wonder if they are selling accessories separately as a side hustle. If by some terrible twist of fate you are literally forced to buy from Galpin then please check every single feature, functionality and accessory you are supposed to receive. It's probably a good idea to check your wallet and your toes too just to make sure they didn't lift anything else while you weren't looking. It's worth pointing out that after I wrote the original review I was contacted by the "new" general manager via email who apologized and explained that they had fired most of the old sales staff and replaced them with people who would focus on customer experience over sales volume. I honestly hope things there have gotten better just because I assume some people will make the mistake of shopping there despite whatever warning I can give and for their sanity and the good of mankind I hope they have a better experience and get what they are paying for. For me though, I'm left with the memory of the worst purchase experience of my life and now a need to purchase an expensive accessory which should have come standard. As a result of this theft I am updating my review as the 3 stars for price are no longer applicable. More

We had been shopping around for a new Odyssey for a week and were unable to obtain the deal we wanted. Leticia gave me a quote that was much better than other dealers and unlike other places she honored it when we came in. There was no hidden fees, or tricks, or sales gimmicks, and best of all when they had a huge inventory of cars and we were able to see the model we wanted in every different color available. Leticia is really the best and I would highly recommend her. She stuck with us through out the entire transaction at the dealer and was very conscious of our tight schedule, She did everything possible to get us out as quickly as possible. We were in such a rush that we didn't have time for her to explain all the features in our new car, so the next day she was kind enough to come to our home and walk us through everything. My husband and I discussed our situation with Luis and he made his recommendations. He was very supportive, made us feel at home and gained our trust almost immediately. To make a long story short, I got my car, on monthly payments that rightfully fit our budget. My husband and I have since been very happy, and to us, Luis is not a salesperson but family.
