Going The Extra Mile I have an 04 jeep grand cherokee. I love it and have had it for a decade. There are known issues with o2 sensor, idle air and PCMs on this model. Ive I have an 04 jeep grand cherokee. I love it and have had it for a decade. There are known issues with o2 sensor, idle air and PCMs on this model. Ive read forums on how difficult it is to diagnose and fix since the error messages are decieving and sometimes linked to further problems. Mine was no different. First time The crew (service desk & mechanics) at Garavel diagnosed and fixed the unstable idle, wires. Couple months later an oil change company reset my computer and all xxxx broke lose again. The guys at Garavel new what i had put into it getting it back to normal and was unusually sympathetic. What surprised me was that Fred (mech guru) made it his personal mission to solve this issue and was willing to wave his labor cost to do just that. He found the solution and calmed the angry beast with minimal cost to me. He took the time to show and explain the issue at hand. Most places would look for ways to make more money out of the situation but not Fred. He just wanted to deliver good work and service. Im very grateful to the friendly and knowledable team at Garavel Jeep in Norwalk. When its time to upgrade you know ill be going back to Garavel. More

Very Satisfied with Mechanical Service I brought my 2004 Dodge Dakota into the shop on Wednesday September 24, 2014 because every now and then my truck was making a clanking noise when I do I brought my 2004 Dodge Dakota into the shop on Wednesday September 24, 2014 because every now and then my truck was making a clanking noise when I down-shifted and I wanted to get it addressed sooner rather than later, especially if it was something serious. It turned out both rear drive shaft u-joints were damaged and the tech installed leaking rear pinion seal. It appeared my vehicle may not be ready until the next day but Keith called that afternoon and to my surprise said the job was complete! I love that I can bring my vehicle into the shop on any given day and leave it there for a mechanic to inspect without waiting forever for a diagnosis. It's been a couple of weeks now, including a road trip to Delaware, and my truck is running great! Erik Tesauro More

My oil change was complimentary (part of the my lease deal), and they even checked my tires, filling them up with air. In addition, they did a thorough inspection of all the major points. Christa (the express lane manager) was very good about keeping me informed of everything, and made sure I was comfortable in the waiting area while I waited. Just a 5 star experience at Garavel, as always. More
