New vehicle purchase I live 4 miles from another Honda dealer, I needed service done on my 2010 Honda Pilot. I called the other dealer and told me they could get to it in one week, they were backed up. I called garber honda service, they advised they were busy, backed up but they would get to it later that day. Upon dropping it off, my wife and I planned on test driving the odyssey and the pilot. My first interaction with a garber employee was with Debra in service, she was awesome, learned that I knew my way around a car and she allowed me to speak directly with the technician. This allowed for a quick and accurate diagnosis and repair. While this was going on, I met Pete Maccracken in sales. My wife and 3 daughters interacted with Pete and he learned of our desire to test drive the pilot and odyssey. He quickly put this into action, he had us both drive and was aware that we were in no hurry to purchase a car and this in no way frustrated him or changed his desire to assist us. He was not a pushy salesman, he was patient, he remembered all three of my kids names and he allowed us to take the test drive vehicle home so we could maximize our test drive. We made the decision to go with the odyssey, we were able to strike a mutually agreed upon reasonable deal to buy the vehicle. I also interacted with sales manager Brian Bender. He was extremely patient with me as well, I can be a little difficult to deal with and Brian and Pete handled me well, with extreme professionalism. At the end of the sale, I am extremely happy with each of the staff that I dealt with on this entire experience, I would highly recommend Pete Maccracken, Brian Bender and Debra Ferra as I feel I received a very high level of customer service, a quality vehicle and a reasonable price. Although he just started to work there several weeks ago, he was very helpful. At the beginning, we planned to purchase EX. But we changed mind from EX to EX-L after Jon show us the EX SUV. Jon help us test driving for EX-L. We were satisfied with it. Then we negotiated the price. We told him an OTD price based on our literature research. After discussing with Jon and his manager, Brian, for several rounds, this price was accepted! So we decided to purchase EX-L at Garber. Jon help us request the black one, which had to be delivered from the factory. Yesterday, the black SUV arrived and Jon took the processing. At 6:30pm, we finished the paper work and got the new SUV. It was beautiful. We liked it. Before we drove the new car home, we had to return the car that we rent. Jon was so helpful that he picked us up from the rent site and dropped off at Garber! We enjoyed the purchasing experience at Garber! More
