We have never been disappointed in the sales or services we purchased. We did however, have a slow process in purchasing our 2016 Honda Pilot for some reason. We were at the dealer for service on our old vehicle and decided to purchase a new one because of the cost of repairing the old one. We arrived there at about 1:00 pm and never left until 8:30 PM that night. I think 7.5 hours to purchase a new vehicle was a bit to long a wait, especially since a lot of time was not spent on negotiations. I am not sure what caused the long delay. More

Anxiety Free Experience1 I bought a new 2002 Honda Accord at another dealer and put 218,000 miles on it until if failed its annual NYS inspection back in December 2015. I had I bought a new 2002 Honda Accord at another dealer and put 218,000 miles on it until if failed its annual NYS inspection back in December 2015. I had never had to leave the car in the shop except for routine maintenance, but the service adviser told me it would cost upwards of $2500 to make it road ready. I was ready to buy another Honda, but after discussing what I was looking for and what I could afford to pay (I've been retired for 3 years and am still learning how to live on a fixed income!), I never heard from the salesman. So, I decided to check out other dealerships, read some really good reviews about Garber and decided to give them a try and am so glad I did! My salesman, Ray Dublin, worked very hard to find me just the right car and was very patient with regards to answering all my questions. I thought I would have to settle for a late model Honda with at least 35,000 miles on it, which would have been OK. However, two days after my first visit, Ray called me to inform me that they had just obtained a 2015 Honda Civic with only 3500 miles on it and priced nearly $7000 below the MSRP. I drove over that afternoon, took a test drive and fell in love with the car. My only concern was getting the monthly payment down to an amount that my budget would allow. Ray then turned me over to one of finance managers (Mon Tran) who spent nearly two hours with me and put my mind at ease. The next day, Ray called to tell me that they had found a lender that would finance the car at an APR of 3.69%, nearly a point lower than my credit union and that sealed the deal! I never felt that I was being "pushed" or manipulated in any way and was extremely impressed by everyone involved. Even though it will probably be at least another 10 year before I consider buying another car, everyone treated me as an important customer. I will be sure to recommend Garber to my friends. More

He was a pleasure to work with, and was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the features of the Civic and the various trims available for it so we could make an informed decision. He also made the extra effort to locate the car in a color we wanted, which we really appreciated. Kelli Ophardt worked with us on the financial end, and she was very pleasant, and very helpful in explaining those details to us. Also, in 2009, I bought a car for myself from here, when it was Holtz Honda, and Annie Bochno was my saleswoman at that time. She is still here at Garber, and is a great salesperson too, but was unavailable the day we came to buy the Civic. We spent some time waiting for accessories to be installed once we finalized the purchase. There is a very nice comfortable waiting area there, which includes a TV and some tables for laptop use, as well as some beverages and snacks available. There is also a children's play room. While we were waiting, I observed the overall friendliness of the staff here, including from the manager, who is very friendly and seems to make a point to greet all the customers. We also had some interaction with the Service Department, with accessories being installed on the new car, as well as work done over the past years. We have been pleased with all the interactions and work we have had done with them over the years, both as Holtz Honda, and now as Garber Honda. This time, George LaCorte was particularly helpful in going over the maintenance needs for our new Civic. Overall, we appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable staff, making for a very pleasant car-buying experience. More

Amazing Shopping experience It started as a appointment we arranged for a recall on our 2006 pilot airbags... Great service might I add. Now prior to our appointment, my wife and I had considered the possibility of trading our Pilot for a little younger version, but did not want to deal with everyone can relate to "The Shark Sales people". So while at Garber, we took the opportunity to look into the newer models, while our truck was in service. Long story short, we decided to come back a few days later to look further into one that caught our attention. We were prepared to know what we wanted and what we didn't. With that said, we had the pleasure of dealing with the most delightful and knowledgeable sales representative's in sometime. The decision to purchase our pre-owned 2014 Honda pilot was because of it value and dependability and our FIVE STARS is definitely because our great experience at Garber. Thanks guys K & Mel More
