I feel as if they set us up for success with our new purchase. Rose was friendly, outgoing, kind, and completely understanding during the entire process. We felt comfortable here - not pressured at all. They took their time - we were needy customers! Mike, the finance man, was very straight forward and helpful with getting us setup with the new car as well. During this process we felt as if we really got the TLC new car buyers need, with some laughs and jokes in the mix. We highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in finding a nice used car at an affordable rate; the staff is mainly the reason for this. Research and eventual purchase of a Honda I was in the market for a new car. I started my research mid - February. I then attended the Rochester Auto Show to see what the market had to offer I was in the market for a new car. I started my research mid - February. I then attended the Rochester Auto Show to see what the market had to offer. Garber Honda was the second dealership I visited of four car makes I was planning to look at. When I walked in, I was greeted by Annie Bochno, and she showed me the Honda Fit, Civic and Accord. I was given brochures on each model, and told about the features of each trim line. I then visited three different automobile make dealerships, but had not test driven any vehicle at this point. I returned to Garber, talked further with Annie who explained the safety features and the advantages of the EX models over the LX versions. She also “talked up” the dealership's service to the customer, its service area and the recent award the dealership recently received. The cars of my choice were either the CIVIC or ACCORD. My wife and I took each for test drive. I was thinking I wanted to test drive some other make cars, but after serious thought, knew that a HONDA was in our future. Thanks to Annie for the time she spent (more than 3 hours over the time frame). I needed to determine which model I wanted, and then decided to go with the extra features offered by the ACCORD EX line. She further went over the many electronic features of the car, set up the Bluetooth Phone process, before I drove it home. I made the right choice going with Garber. The sales people and all the staff all worked together to make the car buying experience enjoyable. Everyone was friendly, and answered my concerns/questions. The fact that Annie understood my need to research, give me time and no pressure, but keep in touch with me to see if I had further questions, were factors in me deciding to buy from Garber. Annie is very knowledgeable of all the features of each model, and put me at ease in my selection. This is my first HONDA. More

I Love My Hondas . . . I have always trusted the Honda brand... and the previous dealer at this Rochester location was good. B U T . . . Garber Honda in Rochester, NY has exceeded my expectations in every way possible !! Starting with our Sales-Person Brian Bender. Brian spent a 'whole' day with us to get the best car, best model, best price and we walked away with a lease for TWO brand new Hondas (my wife even got a color they did not have available = we delivered hers the next day as Garber traveled to Utica for us!). We have never been treated this well by any sales-person anywhere. We think Brian Bender is Top-Shelf !! Next was the Finance Office: Matt Tyler. Matt was very efficient and explained our deal in detail so we could understand and feel comfortable with our first lease. He took extra time to answer a few unrelated to finance questions for my wife, going way beyond the call-of-duty. Last is the Sales Manager Rick Damico. We had little contact with Rick, but when we did it was warm, friendly, professional, unhurried, and we felt well respected from the first moment we walked in the showroom. We Love Our TWO Hondas . . . and we think GARBER HONDA in Rochester, NY is the ONLY place to shop !! Just made you feel very comfortable. Rose was very informative and we enjoyed working with her. (Such a nice girl)6 We met with Matt, he was willing to work with us and gave us a very competitive market value price. GREAT JOB! Annie was just GREAT. Every explaining all of the features of the Honda CRV I was taken on a test drive. I had already owned a few Honda Accords, so Annie was just GREAT. Three days later I brought my wife in for 'final approval'. Again, Annie was very pleasant in describing all of the features of the CRV - especially the safety features because we're intending to cart around our grandkids. Although not intending to buy the car that same day - we ended up trading in my Nissan Altima and driving off the lot that same day. TWO THUMBS UP. More

Returned Lease and started new lease I received a call from Brian asking me if i was interested in returning my lease early and leasing another Honda. I didn't know that was an option but i went in any way to check it out. He went over all of my options and was very patient and informative with all of my questions. I was worried about trading in my existing lease because there was some damage from an accident. He assured me that Honda is forgiving and brought my car over for a quick inspection right then and there. I test drove a few cars and ended up Leasing a Honda Civic. I feel that I got a great deal! The whole process was fast and simple,I had my new car 2 days later. For the money I am paying I couldn't be happier. I brought my boyfriend with me and he was so impressed he leased a car himself! Brian was the most down to earth and trustworthy car salesman I have ever dealt with. This was my first time returning my lease and I have heard horror story's from other people about how they get charged extra fees and have problems with other dealers. I will defiantly stick with Honda for my leases because they don;t nickle and dime you and make the process fast, simple, and inexpensive. More
