A Tale of Two Dealerships Our recent experience with two car dealerships highlighted the stark contrast in customer service and professionalism. The trouble began with serious engine problems that required attention. Initially, we sought assistance from the Irvine dealership but were met with disappointment. The staff appeared unfriendly and demonstrated a lack of willingness to address our concerns or offer any meaningful help. Their attitude made it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority, and it left us with no intention of returning to that dealership for service or sales in the future. In sharp contrast, the GG Kia dealership proved to be an exemplary demonstration of quality service. Luis, a representative at GG Kia, stood out for his courteous and supportive approach. Although he made no promises, Luis took the time to understand the situation, offering a level of attention and care that immediately put us at ease. From the initial conversation through to the moment he handed over the keys to our repaired vehicle, Luis maintained his professionalism and commitment to helping us resolve the issue. This experience underlines the importance of customer service in automotive dealerships. While technical expertise is essential, it is the human element—the courtesy, empathy, and willingness to assist—that often makes the most lasting impression. GG Kia, thanks to Luis and their team, has earned our trust and appreciation, setting a standard that others, like the Irvine dealership, would do well to aspire to. More
