Here's the email sent to management, Prior to this meeting my son had met with Johny Beusil, who told him the best deal he could get on this Civic is $2000 total out of pocket and $250/month. (His original number to my son was $3000 down and $290/month.) Clearly attempting to take advantage of an 18 year old. I then spoke with Maria and then Yule. The email below discusses what happened. Hi Maria, I'm not sure why you would write this to me. I came over to Garden State Honda yesterday and even though you said you would be there, they told me you weren't. Yule called me and had me come in. I have to say my experience with Garden State Honda was very upsetting. I don't think I would ever come back and buy from your company. Too bad because I was ready to buy right away and I even talked up the Civic to someone who works for me but I'll be steering them to another Honda dealership also. You gave me solid numbers you said you could do. I went over those numbers with Yule. He said he could do them also. I even went so far as to have him speak to his manager/credit or whoever ok's the deal and confirm that I can get these numbers. I very specifically mentioned $1000 total out of pocket. Please don't bring up any other fees or costs. He put me on hold for 15 minutes while he deliberated with the manager. I even filled out your credit app online and got pre-approved to make the process quicker. I confirmed with him $17,283 for the Honda Civic LX with Automatic Transmission (orginally quoted as a sedan but I changed to coupe, which is cheaper but I didn't ask for a reduction in price), I confirmed just like you said, if I put $1995 out of pocket it would be $136/month lease. If I go with $1000 total out of pocket it would go up roughly $25/month so I conservatively figured about $30/month which would bring me to $166/month. Yule agreed with these numbers and so did some suppossed manager he talked to for 15 minutes. He said we are all good come on down and get your car! I then before getting off the phone specifically asked again that I wasn't being duped and some manager wasn't going to walk over and say he can't do that deal and offer me another price. AGAIN, Yule said no problem. I came down to GSH and low and behold just like many other sneaky dealerships the bait and switch was on. Yule left us at his desk for another 15-20 minutes while he deliberated with another manager. Finally, the manager comes over and starts mentioning a bunch of fees that need to be added on and so on and so forth and says the absolute best deal he can do is $1000 total our of pocket and $227/month. MUCH higher then expected and quoted by both you and Yule. My time is precious and this type of deception drives me insane. This happened with a Ford dealer years ago on my first explorer. I was upset, left the place and never looked back. I then found a no nonsense dealer I was very happy with leased an explorer and then went back and ended up leasing another explorer from them. I am all about great service and zero deception. Figure that out and I'm yours for life, however, do what GSH does and lose me and any recommendations I will ever make to anyone. Thanks for your time, I'm sorry this was long winded but I appreciate you reading this through if you've actually made it this far. Please pass this on to management if you see fit, it's not really bad against you since you weren't there and I'm mostly pissed at Yuel and the manager. Thanks, More

I strongly recommend Clifton Honda Dealer. My experience with salesperson Julio Cartagena as well as the Sales Manager Natasha was great. Before I have made the decision to come into this dealer I have also with salesperson Julio Cartagena as well as the Sales Manager Natasha was great. Before I have made the decision to come into this dealer I have also made contact with other dealers on the same date. My experience with other dealers and salespersons were horrible and stressful. I was so discouraged and ready to give up on buying a car from a dealer. I even thought about just buying any used car at a small town dealer and just let it be. But then something inside of me said call Honda in Clifton NJ. I made the call and came in contact with Sales manager Natasha. I spoke to her about how it was becoming so hard and stressful for me to buy a car. Number one because I was not ready to get myself into a 5 years debt and number two because I was willing to use all my money savings to buy a used car in order to avoid a monthly payment. She felt how discouraged I was over the phone when I spoke to her and she encouraged me to come into the dealer and ask for her. She said she was going to make sure I get treated like family. At first I was like....yeah ok...here we go again. These dealers are all about the money...I thought to myself. Well, not this time. When I came into the dealer I immediately met the salesperson Natasha had assigned to work with me to get me a car, but wait...not just a used car like I wanted, but they got me into a new car, a 2013 Honda accord LX. At first when they spoke to me about my payment options in order to be to afford a new car without using all of my savings up front I was like, well, I don't know how you guys are going to do it. I was willing to pay $20, 000 on any used car just like that in order to avoid a monthly payment. It was not until Julio and Natasha together as a team got together and put a deal for me. A deal that I did not believe myself because it sounded too good to be true to me at first. We all know how that saying goes; if it is too good to be true then it is not true. Well this time God blessed me with the right sales people and my car deal was just perfect for me, Thank God. If you would like to meet a great team of professional people who are not just about to make a profit of you and kick you out the dealer door in a rush, then the dealers you need to go too is Clifton Honda and ask for Julio Cartagena and sales manager Natasha.
