Bought a 2010 Honda CRV from this place. Great experience so far! The process was very smooth. The car wasn't available when I first went in, but they made the deal and located the car within 3 days, and Tim so far! The process was very smooth. The car wasn't available when I first went in, but they made the deal and located the car within 3 days, and Tim followed up every day with me to give a status update on the car. Also had great experience with Ali Ranjha, the finance manager. Tim also followed up the day after we bought the car, to see if we have any questions. More
The salesperson was professional and courteous. The price offered for the trade in was fair and invoice price was offered. The car was prepared as we spoke on the phone. very accomodating...we have been a long-term customer of this dealership and they have always been responsive and responsible in their dealings with us...we would not go anywhere else for our new cars and s this dealership and they have always been responsive and responsible in their dealings with us...we would not go anywhere else for our new cars and service...this is remarkably unusual for a relationship that has lasted more than 20 years... Incredible service. This is a professional place of business. The sales person and manager (Marc) were honest, sincere, patient, and helpful. We luckily chose to go to Garden Stae Honda first. After business. The sales person and manager (Marc) were honest, sincere, patient, and helpful. We luckily chose to go to Garden Stae Honda first. After viewing the cars and receiving the price we visited other places to see if the price was competitive. It was very competitive, in fact it was the best. But what we found was wheeling and dealing and exhaustive conversations, quite the opposite from the professionalism at Garden State Honda. I confidently recommend Garden State Honda. More

I had a wonderful purchasing experience with Alwyn Douglas from beginning to end...My only complaint is with the manager, cannot remember his name...I told them that i had lost my title and they said Douglas from beginning to end...My only complaint is with the manager, cannot remember his name...I told them that i had lost my title and they said "no problem, just sign a power of attorney" i did the same day and then they told me when i picked up my new car that i had to immediately rush to motor vehicle and get a duplicate...it cost me $60.00, three hours work and i had to run back to the dealer to get them the title....not a professional way to do business...i lost money and work time... I found a used car online posted as an internet special on the dealer's website. I came to the dealership to take a look at the car but found out it was in the shop. Mike showed me a similar car but I was on the dealer's website. I came to the dealership to take a look at the car but found out it was in the shop. Mike showed me a similar car but I was already settled on the one I found online. Mike was understanding and so we discussed a deal for the car that was posted online. I felt slightly pressured into signing a non-refundable down payment on the car but I feel that Carlos was truthful in telling me the car was a popular item. Later on when I came back to make the final sale on the car Carlos was nice enough to honor the coupon on the website for 200 dollars as well as allow me to put more on credit card. Mike also helped me out by letting me park my old car at the dealership till I could pick it up the next day. However, I felt that the final sale of the car took longer than it should have because I had to wait over an hour before I was attended to. The dealer does honor their internet price without any hassle which is why I recommend it. More
Although my initial sales person was David Russo, who was very nice, I mostly worked with Brent Jackson who went above and beyond to work out all the financials with me! Aside from his keen knowledge and pro very nice, I mostly worked with Brent Jackson who went above and beyond to work out all the financials with me! Aside from his keen knowledge and professionalism, he worked very hard to get me close to the price I wanted. He also took the extra step to finalize the deal when I picked up the car b/c David was off that day. Brent showed me how to use all the features, put on the temp plate, as well as the inspection sticker. I have to say, of all my experiences with buying/leasing cars, I've never had the finance person go the extra mile like Brent did and he was the real reason why I decided to go with Honda! More
Let me start by commending the sales person, Hector Aviles. He made the buying process easy and treated me with courtesy and respect throughout. He answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns Aviles. He made the buying process easy and treated me with courtesy and respect throughout. He answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns and went above and beyond to make me happy. He was nothing but helpful and professional the whole way through. He is an asset to your dealership and completely proves the 'sleazy car salesman' stereotype wrong. I hope that all my future car buying experiences are like this one. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone I know to go to Hector if they are interested in purchasing a vehicle. On the complete other end of the spectrum was the finance department. I first spoke to Isabel (I did not get her last name). At first she was helpful and professional, but once she found out I was not interested in purchasing any of the extra options for protection that she was offering, her demeanor changed. She became short with me, seemed very visibly frustrated and gave me the impression that I was wasting her time. She also lied to me about the terms of my loan, she said that I could not do a 36 month finance because my payments could not exceed $200 a month even though she had offered me a package of protection that would have made my payments close to $250 a month. She just did not want to offer me 36 months because I wasn't buying what she was selling. When I called Honda financial directly they said I could have done 36 months if I wanted to and they did not know why she lied to me. She also had her manager, Mr. Joe Choy, come out to try to convince me to buy other options. He proceeded to badger me for over 15 minutes even though I gracefully declined to accept anything at least a dozen times. He insinuated that I was stupid and uninformed for not wanting the extended warranty, told me I was wrong in belief that I felt I could get a comparable warranty from another source. He rolled his eyes at me and when it became apparent to him that he could not convince to buy anything he gave me attitude, snatched the papers from the desk and practically stormed out of the room. I understand that these people in finance might need to sell me these options to make commission but they should not disrespect customers who are not interested in any of the things they are offering. It seems to me that once they knew I would not be putting money in their pocket, I went from being a customer to being a nuisance that just wanted to push out the door as rudely as possible. After the experience I had on the sales end, the finance end was a real let down. Maybe their training should include how to deal with the fact that some customers, for whatever personal reasons they have, might not be interested in extra services and that the fact that they are not interested does not make them less of a customer. Over all, I would give your sales department an A+ and your finance department an F. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone I know to go through your finance department, they were rude, unprofessional and a huge disappointment. Hopefulle no one else has to deal with the disrespect and lack of courtesy that I received in finance. More
