John was extremely friendly and worked with me, instead of my parents, which was very important to me because I wanted to be included as I was going to be purchasing the vehicle. John was very informative and very helpful on explaining all the details on the car and explaining all the details on financing. I was able to get a very reasonable interest rate on the loan with help from John and I was very happy with the price of my new car as well. We were pretty clear on what we wanted, but Mark gave us the opportunity to view 2 different models; we decided to 'splurge' a little on the SE. We were able to quickly negotiate a fair price, and start the paperwork. While going through the process to get the new lease, I started to think that I would be much happier in a Tucson, than the current 2012 Hyunday Elantr Touring that I had. So we ended up getting Two Tucsons! We appreciated the attention Mark and the rest of the team paid to our deals, making it a very enjoyable experience. More

We test drove the Caliber but my husband was looking for something different. He explained to Mark he couldn't believe he was test driving a Dodge at a Hyundai dealership as Hyundai Sonata's are his favorite car and had owned 2 prior and loved them. Mark picked out the PERFECT car that he knew we would love...after about a 10 minute test drive, we were both in love and we had to have it!!! Mark & Keith worked hard at getting us just the right financing to meet our needs and we are now proud owners of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata!!! I also just have to say, we met with Gary Rome and Jack as well, I was floored that he actually came and greeted us and thanked us for our purchase...we also had a family picture with Jack with our new car...how many people can say when purchasing a new car, that the OWNER of the dealership and his family dog greeted them and thanked them personally?!?! I was very apprehensive and new to financing and buying a car from a dealership. I had been researching dealerships and vehicles available in the area and when I found Gary Rome I saw that this was going to car from a dealership. I found my 2012 Hyundai Accent and inquired about it online. Rick contacted me about it right away and was very informative, giving me information about the Accent and sending me information on my phone to review before I came in to test drive. When I came in John was the sales consultant who set me up with a test drive and was a pleasure to work with throughout the buying process. He answered all of my questions and concerns, was very laid back and friendly. Being a first time buyer they all made the experience very positive and I've been recommending to family and friends alike who are in the market for a car to go to Gary Rome! I will definitely be a customer again the next time I am in the market for a new car! More
I had been looking on line at the 2014 Hyundai Elantra Coupe for some time and after finally figuring out exactly how I wanted my car to be I contacted Gary Rome Hyundai and spoke to some of their interne Coupe for some time and after finally figuring out exactly how I wanted my car to be I contacted Gary Rome Hyundai and spoke to some of their internet personel who were very informative and honest about telling me they hadn't received any coupes yet but would call me when they got one in. Which was fine because I wasn't in a real hurry to purchase a vehicle. Maybe after a week or two I received a call that a coupe had come in and scheduled an appointment to drive it. When I arrived for my test drive I met my salesperson John Linnehan who was so great in pulling the car out from 5 rows deep after a snow storm. So I took it for a drive and totaly fell in love with it except that it wasnt the color I had been hoping to get and it didnt have the technology package. When I explaind to John exactly the car I was hoping to purchase he went to his manager and they began to search for one. Which they did locate and were willing to get for me. I am happy to say with in the next week I was driving away in what I think is an absolutely beautiful car. I just want to thank everyone at Gary Rome Hyundai for going above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. Everyone I spoke with and met while purchasing my vehicle were very nice and knowledgeable. I especially want to thank my salesperson John Linnehan for all his efforts to get me the car and explaining all the functions of the vehicle to me at delivery. I bought a 2006 used Sonata back in 2009 with low miles that started out in good shape. The car was still under warranty which was another year or 20,000 miles. Before the warranty was up, the key starti that started out in good shape. The car was still under warranty which was another year or 20,000 miles. Before the warranty was up, the key starting getting stuck in the ignition. The techs never bothered to figure out what was wrong and simply made me another key (at my expense) which did absolutely nothing to solve the problem. After normal driving for a couple of years, some accessories started falling apart and warning lights started appearing. The tray on the driver's door with all the window buttons broke and dropped down so low that I could not reach the buttons with my fingers. I took the entire door apart and repaired it myself. Next the lens cover on the interior light on the passenger's front door fell off. A replacement lens (cheap plastic) was some something like $12 but I opted to repair it myself. Then the passenger's electric window in front started to slow way down when being raised. It just barely makes it fully up before it stalls. Then the visor above the driver's seat broke and would not stay up and the light no longer came on. No big deal.....but there's more. Then the airbag warning light came on and briefly went off then came on again and stayed on. The service techs at Gary Rome checked it out and told me nothing was wrong and not to put anything under the seat. Cost me 50 dollars to have checked out and turned off. OK, so the airbag light stayed off for a while then all of a sudden it's on again and I was careful about putting anything under the seat. Went and got a second opinion from another dealer who stated it was a problem with the seat belt tension and would cost over $400 to repair. No way, I am paying that just to fix a dumb light on the dashboard. Then I needed a safety inspection sticker while the airbag light is always lit on the dashboard. I found a workaround but am keeping it to myself, at least for now. Then to top it all off, one morning I put the key in to go to work and it would not turn and it would not come out. Had to have it towed to GR and a new ignition was installed at almost $400. In short, the service department is very friendly but techs don't seem to be very well trained. As far as buying another Hyundai........I'm done. I am back to GM where I never had this kind of trouble with any GM car for the past 40+ years. More
